I know its a bit early but the festivals this year are out of control. The line ups this year are fucking sick EVERYWHERE but i dont think i cna be able to go to one of them because i want to go see Whirly and Stash instead ;) But for example - check this sick line up in Belgium :

only Coachella for me so far....

Bonnaroo looks like alot of fun, but there is no way I could afford to go to both Coachella and Bonnaroo.

Lollapalooza is suppost to do something new this year. What that means? I dont know. Ive heard very strong rumors of Daft Punk. 8O

I also would like to check out that V festival in Canada, since ive never been to Canada.

Other then that, im jealous of you people out in Europe who have the Chemical Brothers headlining just about every festival. It just isnt fair!

Would really like to go to Rockness. Chemical Brothers and Daft Punk at the same festival is a dream come true for me. And then put the cherry on top with Groove Armada. Dauuuuum.

The US needs more Chems friendly festivals. The festival circuit is something that never really took off here in the States quite the way it did in Europe. I mean, we have our festivals but they seem to be fewer and farther between than overseas.

Perhaps the Chems will be back to Coachella again some day - Coachella loves the Chems!! We love the Chems at Coachella, and from what I've gathered, they seem to dig Coachella. It's a fricken Coachella love fest is what it is.

I will officially be at both Summercase and Bestival, and hopefully Glasto, and maybe some smaller ones here and there.

I think i will have to go to a festival in Holland as i want to save money.

I prefer festivals elsewhere BUT it could be fun if we have a good line up!

I won't do any festivals this year I think... Only Daft Punk on June and the Chems on July in Paris, maybe a festival that is the same day as the chems forum in Paris with friends, and that's all. I have to work this summer... :(

Yeah I've got my Oxegen ticket too. I'm mostly going for the experience to sample the party and festival atmosphere. This will be my first and it's kind of a 'trial run'...EP sounds pretty awesome and it's local too which is always a plus. Anyone heading to Glastonbury?

I'm not really sure if this is on topic, but does anyone have any suggestions for a Festival Virgin like myself. In terms of items to being and stuff. I'm staying the whole weekend for Oxegen so I'm puzzled as to what I would need. All help would be very much appreciated.

Yoshidude , from the thing i heard about Oxegen Chem'd Up is right. Ive heard many bad stories about it. I dont want to piss in youre cheerios ( Hehe X-D ) but , part of why festivals are so amazing is because of the "were all as one " feeling. Sleeping in a tent , not showering , walking in the mud , getting pissed/high , watching amazing bands , going ape , youre all doing it with 50.000 other people. Thats whats so amazing about festivals. So , as you are a festival virgin , i suggest you to go to a festival with a friendly atmosphere. I'm sure the irish and english on this forum can give u some suggestions! But if you have the money , GO TO SUMMERCASE IN BARCELONA! Just my two cents. ;-)
