He don't need no music sheets,
but with a snip-snip-snippy-snip
gave his mop a chop,
Old man hairstyles are a flop.

TJ, it's flattering that you think I'm Jesus, but I assure you I'm not that good.

And for the record, I'm 27. :)

It's like a fine wine. Or port. Mmmm. Port.

I would say that your 20s will be some of the most fast-paced, frantic years of your life, in a good way, of course. My twenties have been awesome, and I still have a few years left here until I hit my thirties.

But my dad gave me some great advice when it came to that whole concept:

"The best years of your life should be the year you're living in, and the year coming up."

I've found that as long as you realize you have so much more control over your reality than you're told, it's true.

Dead on, Pooter. The 20-something years are a blur to me. A rollercoaster filled with ups and downs and breakneck speeds. Heck, when I was 22 I went from living at home to moving out on my own, being single to being deathly ill to running off and getting married after dating for 5 months. Became a mom when I was 26. Strange times.

The 30-something years are definitely a lot more settled. It may not be as exciting, but I've reached the point where I'm OK with that plus weird things do happen from time to time and I have my fun from time to time. And I am perfectly comfortable with who I am. The hard part was getting over turning 30. Man, that was hard. After that it was all good. Now I get to look forward to 40 in less than 5 years. Blugh. I'd be lying if I said that didn't freak me out.
