I've been kinda out and away from this board recently not primarly due to lack of interest but full-time work and classes are my life for the moment. Anyway I have two things and pardon me if I'm covering stuff that has been said, keep in mind the amount of new posts were overwelming and I only read some:



Why is there such a sudden surge in EBW5s? Well I do know one reason why, and this will also answer gundhi's question about it sounding funky. They're bootlegs. Yes, the jackoffs who were always putting up white promo records titled "Chemical Bros - Africa" or whatever got a little more dodgy. I went to the record store today and almost had a heart attack when I found 2 copies of every EBW there for only $10. Being seriously low on money, I was only able to pick up one copy of EBW5. When I went home and put it on I heard the horrid sound of that stupid trance rip-off that were circulating prior to the single. So long story short, there are bootlegs with the EXACT SAME red sticker on them. I am yet to find a difference, but i did notice (and haven't found one not like this online) that the Cat# on it is CHEMSTDJ12 while the first ebw was XDUSTLPDJ2. Planet dust had a pic but it had the same Cat# on the sticker with CHEMSTDJ12. If you find one in person, look at the letters, the real one will be crisp and clear while the fake will be a little less clear on the sides and you'll be able to see a little of pixles. So you've been warned.



Second part of news, this didn't seem to be listed anywhere I looked but here is the listing for Astralwerk's CD EP version of Get Yourself High:

I don't think so.

Look at Chemical Bits. (the website)

They also skipped the number for the albums: XDUSTCD3.

So they use anynumber they want for album, single, promo or whatever.

This could be so.

When I look at my EBW 1&2 the letters on the label are sharp.

No pixles at the end of letters.

But when I look at the EBW5 is has little pixles at the end.

No it was I have it in my hands and the astralwerks logo is on it. I also found that they released a promo of gyh on 12 but it's just the song + four remixes. Astralwerks did say it would be released as a single on the 27th, but they didn't bother to put it in their new releases list on the site

Well i called up the people at the record store and in my most polite voice told them the situation (I work in a record store and know there are a lot of asses out there in regards to refunds). They said they'd excange it so maybe I can get something real now, everything's going biff's way!
