Tom not only shouted at one piece of equipment in Manchester in 2005, he thumped it quite hard a few times and signalled to the mixing desk people before they walked off stage for a few minutes. I think he might have been slightly annoyed about something...

A good picture to see "Ed's rack"
There's indeed a Nord Modular, the Jupiter 6 and under it I don't know exactly what it is... Octave Cat ?

There's an Andromeda on the right rack (at least at the Vienna show on 4/7) and I could see a Mac Notebook running in the PA-area to the right of the stage. It's Logic Jim. So the Nord and everything else is connected to that. I seem to have seen a MiniMoog onstage too. My God, with all the gear I saw I could buy a house on the Vienna hillsides and still have money left for a new car. ;-)

the little keyboard connected to the ENORMOUS backend is the mono/poly
and yes, biff, roland octopad -- or at least it used to be, perhaps they've upgraded

OMG, you guys can pick out the individual things on their sets? Thats leet, I'd love to buy a few of the things they use, to supliment my Techtronics boards, my mixer, my KORG keyboard, an a few other things I mix with..
Seriously though, I'm so supprised you guys can just pick that shit out, I'd love to just synth and vinyl DJam with you guys.. It would be tight, and sound VERY Chemical in nature I'm sure.
Hell my music already sounds pure chems...lol

Yeah, there's hard core gear whores in this forum!
It really is impressive, there's quite a bit of knowledge and gear spotting here - the whole botanist approach to studying gear in and outside the Chems realm. As much as an outsider I am in the nature of 99.99% things gear, threads like this make for good reading.

Yes indeed, I read the whole thread before posting, I do have great knowledge of gear, due to the fact that I live 1 block over from a Guitar Center, and frequent the Tech and Keymachine rooms every week or so.
Really Impressive, and a good way to find a great pice to add to my deck of musical "insturments"!! :)
For instance my electric guitar is hooked up to a board of 4 synth pedals, wired through my mixer.. :) Just a sick little toy.
