Please come play a show in Atlanta next year. It is been 5 years now. That shit aint right.
I will even pick you up from the air-port. My car has an air conditioner as well as electric windows. You guys can even Push the Buttons for them in creative patterns and call them Electronic Battle Windows. I won't mind.
I will arrange everything. Send me a PM or call my cell phone.
Later,
Soups

Not Albania, I've come to have a certain fondness for the poor place after writing two papers on it this semester. How 'bout Moldova, which, as every football pundit mentioned after Scotland lost there couple months back, can't even afford to light its streets?

My grandfather was born in Moldova and for years wanted to go back just to see it, but couldn't under Soviet rule. About 5 years ago my dad took my grandfather back and you are right, electricity still hasn't replaced the candle. My pop went all out for my grandad- had an interpretor and videographer document the whole thing so it could be passed down through the generations. It was actually very fascinating. The days my dad and grandfather were there, it was the annual celebration of when the Nazis were driven out. The people seemed very friendly, and very proud of their humble town and found the idea of two Americans there for a visit intriguing and reason enough for them to have as guests of honor in the breadbreaking ceremony. Anyway, the country is near destitute, but nobody seemed to be starving, the town took care of each other. The city hall in the town of my grandfather's birthplace had broken out windows that haven't been replaced in over 10 years. Homes still have dirt floors, no electrcity and no bathrooms - my grandfather said not a lot changed since he was a boy... That country faced a lot of adversity under Stalin and especially under the Nazis, who set up makeshift death camps just outside of the primarily Jewish town, which was pretty much liquidated. The stories were horrible... It just seems like that town in particular is stuck in time, and with it's terrible past and it being lost on the map during the days of the U.S.S.R. and still largely ignored today, it's no wonder that country still hasn't recovered nor progressed very much.
I'm sorry, I'm in a talkative mood today. I love having the days off but hate it when my son is sick.
be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle
