well i'd love to post a great review on last night, but i don't think anyones intrested in the laboratory sessions @ bar square in camberley. which is where i went last night.
unfortunately only a few of my friends were up for turnmills. and the rest were going down our local bar. i just wanted to be with everyone so i gave up on the plan to go to turnmills.
still had a good night and i'm sure i will be seeing the chems a few time in 2004!!!
Happy New Year!!

:( I thought for sure you'd have seen them on New Years Eve! I was hoping, looking forward to it anyway. Your last review was great.
At least your night out was good times even if it lacked the chemical factor! It's definitely more than I can say about my New Year's Eve but I'm not complaining.

Yeah, a night in with the husband, our son who was asleep by 8, my sis-in-law and her fiance, and a couple of friends -trying to keep things mellow which was fine by me since I did not partake of any drinking and I had to work today. Just watching The Twilight Zone marathon...
Can't say the same for my friend who had too much to drink though, she wasn't having very much fun at all!

If it was any other day of the year i would have been at the front shaking my booty. and i tried to get all my friends to come, guilt trips, bribery, scandal, deception, just about everything!! but sometimes things are not ment to be

I think sneakerbeater has seen the Chemicals more times than anyone on this board... combined! He's demographically convenient when it comes to catching the Chemicals, it's only a matter of time before he sees them again! Lucky lucky, is what I say - to live in London *sigh*
As long as he's not bummed out about it, it's OK. It might not have been as much fun without his mates.

it aint just luck!!! there is more dedication required to seeing them than luck.
like the last live show i saw. i couldn't make it to either of the brixton academy show on the come with us tour. so instead, cos i had the following week off work. i saw the at the heineken music hall, amsterdam. thats dedication!!
when i saw them at what was for me their best ever dj peformance. the boutique xmas party 2001. i had to go down to brighton, to the boutique a couple of months before to pick up a load of tickets. it was alright cos i got to experience the unkle sound system while i was there. but they sold the christmas party tickets towards the end of the night, around 1 am. by the time i got home which would have been around 3am it didn't leave me much time to get some sleep before i start work at 6am!!!
i mean they don't play in that much in the UK, but more than they do in the the US, the netherlands, canada , malaysia etc. i am demographically blessed but i put the effort in to see them. i call it dedication not luck :D
and dedication dosen't mean stalker!!!!!

I think they play more overseas gigs than in the US canada.. this time aroudn when they came to the US they only had four dates. I dont think they liek us that much anyhoo glad your a dedicated fan.. so driving 10 hrs to see them ( as I did for the chicago show ) isnt dedication !! lol
but its all good ;-)

Ah, dedication! 8) If there's a will... but hopefully no club casualties along the way!
I was just talking about this today with my husband as we were reminiscing about the last time we caught the Chems, during Come With Us.
