But I *do* think he's making a mountain out of a molehill (as we say it), and I feel the need to point it out, because the government WANTS us to be scared, be scared of the scary scary muslims, because that makes us easy to control, and let's them do whatever they want.
If you're afraid, then the government that wants to control you AND the terrorists that want you to be afraid BOTH win.
word!

I asume your talking about the AMERICAN government ? Cause the British one , and Tony Blair reacted very calm and professional on this crisis.
When I speak of the 'government', I'm speaking of the multinational corporations that control the entire western world. Blair, Bush, Chirac, Putin, Sharon, they're just puppets, and they all take their orders from the same place.
Why do you think the western world's declared war on Islam? I'll tell you why, because at the heart, Islam is a religion that rejects consumerism. We're fighting to make the world safe for Coke and Nike and Fox News.
sorry, I'm ranting. But as long as I'm ranting, lemme just say that I don't beleive in 'Al Queda'. I believe Osama Bin Ladin never left the CIA payroll, and that the U.S. government planned and carried out the 9-11 attacks, the Madrid bombings and todays attacks, in order to forward it's anti-muslim/pro-consumerism agenda around the world.
ok, paranoid rant over.

Hey my brotha from anotha motha, glad you and yours are all safe.
When are you coming to Cali? you need to do it soon, before entering and leaving the U.S. becomes more difficult than filming a documentary in North Korea.

we're cool. been a sad day, the media coverage has been inescapable. i spend 8 hours at work and instead of listening to the mondaine pop music. but today capital radio was more a public information service, people phoning up the radio station asking for relatives to contact them. upto the minute news and listening to the casualty and fatality count going up throughout the day. today at work people seem very subdued. its been a very somber day.
now i'm chillin at home with some music therapy and the telly turned off.

Despite the news being non-stop here (although there is a sort of a self serving agenda, a.k.a. Los Angeles is far away from London so don't worry, and Bush gets to flex his cowboy muscles and he was right blah blah blah - memo to the media: this isn't about the US or George Bush being "right" or Los Angeles, this is about LONDON!!! People are dead - let's take a look at the root knew what the hell I was on about when I mentioned it at work this morning - doesn't anyone read the news anymore? Or does nobody care because London is far away from California? Just pisses me off. The whole day is a pisser.
What a terrible day for London and the rest of Great Britain...

Bred will be the ultimate evolutionary force, to sweep in a tiring manner through the cities, revealing the swells, the irregularities: the beautiful anomalies; that which defies and which shall engulf and digest, crushing and redefining. It has thus been said.
Three mechanics: therefore ministers, hear us for all, with fickle eyes you will see a great beneficiary, your greatest unknown villain and burden, belied by its nature: as such it will be cleared and swayed by yours, defiled and rotted, and yet you shall see no debt, climbing and nevermore existing is your end.
Time takes time. Such is unclear, be warned.

Like so many others, my cousin was late for work and went down to catch a late train. She arrived at the station 3 minutes after one of the blasts 8O saw people coming out crying, bleeding etc. :( I'm glad she's ok, but bloody hell, she was damn lucky.

For some reason i always end up talking to EVERYBODY , EVERYWHERE...i love this because i meet a lot of amazing people and hear a lot of amazing story's...
So this winter i sat in the NY Subway and i ended up talking with this woman who really experienced the whole 9/11 thing as she lives few blocks away from the WTC. What shocked me the most about her story was the fear in her eyes when she told me all that , and the emotions you could hear in her voice. That really touched me!

Watching everything play out on television, and having been to New York and having seen these massive, seemingly indestructible buildings in person... what I saw invoked feelings of sickness, disbelief, shock, horror and utter helplessness. It pained me when Madrid got terrorized a while ago, and it pains me now me that London and the rest of the UK are going through those same horrible feelings...
