no no no, the vocals are brilliant. tim put so much energy in there, I love them. but also the new version is ace.

The vocals are what bothered my husband. They don't bother me all that much but truth is The Boxer, though I like it, is not among my favorite of Chems collabs. So I think I might prefer this mix to the original version myself. For now at least. I'll give it some time. I think maybe it's because the mix is new (to us anyway) and comes at a lull time when anything Chemical that comes our way is a super exciting thing.

I also prefer Life Is Sweet to The Boxer. I also believe Boxer had some weaker parts and bits and pieces and could have been a bit better than it actually was - more potential than it shows. Still, a great tune.

the boxer is one of my favorite collaborations, for whatever reason. i like the album version, instrumental, and this other instrumental a lot.

Really glad to hear the full on instrumental though... Mad track behind some really cool vocals. If you know Tim's other work, it's really a perfect addition. Always was...
