Hmmm. Favorite bands. The first album that comes to mind that I think everyone should listen to when they've got a moment to sit back and chill is Spiritualized 'Lazerguided Melodies'.

You shall listen to Chab - Dub, Edits And Whisky-Coke. Dub, Edits And Whisky-Coke is a fantastic dance record, one of the top 3 from 2005.
You shall listen to Hybrid - I Choose Noise. Hybrid are the 21st century breaks geniuses.
You shall listen to John Digweed - Transitions Vol.2. Transitions Vol.2 is a DJ mix album of ethereal proportions.
You shall listen to John Tejada - Cleaning Sounds Is A Filthy Business. Cleaning Sounds Is A Filthy Business is the best homage ever paid to Orbital (RIP).
If you like Pink Floyd, you shall listen to Amorphous Androgynous - Alice In Ultraland. Alice In Ultraland is the best psychedelic thing since Pink Floyd (RIP).
You shall listen to Global Communication - 76 14. 76 14 is the best ambient album on earth.
If you like LCD Soundsystem and all things DFA, you shall listen to Planet Funk - Static. Static is a totally unexpected and fresh direction for Planet Funk, a superb record. Running Through My Head and Tears alone could bring your roof down (not a good idea if your mama is an angry person!).
Pole Folder - Zero Gold. Zero Gold is the most blinding dark moody album since Massive Attack's Mezzanine.
Well, that'll get you started.

ps, im into anything with soul, funk techno beats.
so basicly if its got a good beat i will probobly like it
on that basis, try recloose - cardiology and i cant remember the name of his new one - it doesnt get much more motor-city techno soul than that :)

It's an interesting mix of electronic, rocky-dnb, tribal, choral, orchestration. Good stuff
I probably shouldn't have made a topic about this CD, I think I shall delete it, if I can...

I just bought the Wide Angle 2-disc at the same time as Labyrinth. I came away unimpressed except for Finished symphony and thier live show. Is I Choose Noise any better in comparison?

I Choose Noise is totally different from Wide Angle. It's like the Chems pre and post DYOH type difference. Gone are the strings, lush pads, and delightful female vocals, replaced by a moody, grimy feel. There is a wide range of songs on here, some really quite experimental for breaks.
Worth a listen, even if you didn't like Wide Angle as is it just SO different.

For some reason, to me, Wide Angle sounds unbelievably flat. Yes, it has strings, but the breaks are really too pedestrian and most tracks sound pretentious and have no depth.
I Choose Noise is the best soundtrack to an unexistent movie you'll ever hear. All the tracks are unbelievably well-structured, there's meaning to each and every sound and beats sound totally MASSIVE. It's a very fantastic audio experience, trust me.
