Well all i can tell u is that near central park it's gonna be quite hard to find inexpensive accomadation.U might wanna try it outside manhatten but that wouldn't be a clever thing to do cause it's far and it's not to safest place to be. I'd say check the accomadations near the streets and stuff that aren't to populair , cause else i'm afraid it's gonna be expensive! And if you're gonna take a youthhostel , book your bed now , cause for sure it will be full!

Around Central Park, dont even think about it. More downtown areas have the cheaper places, and you wouldnt want to go north of the park. NYC has been really cleaned up in the past few years, but even so, the outer boroughs arent dangerous, just useless. No need to go there.

I'm flying from tennessee to see this show! We will be staying in a hostel near central park. I would love to meet up with you and explore the city together while we smoke dank nuggets all the day long.... Holler back at me if you would like info on the hostel we will be staying in. We're flying in the day before the show and leaving at 5:30 the morning after for home. It's going to be like one long dream!!!! If anyone else would like to meet up, send back some info... It would be nice to have a crowd from out of town to kick it with!!! 8O

I live less than 2 hours away so it's close to me. Also there's an afterhours party at club Crobar, but I'll be skipping that. www.ultranewyork.com for more info. I'll be handing out a few of my CD's in the crowd as well, but not too many. If you need any help you may call me at 860-212-6461. I know NYC and most of New England well enough to at least help you help yourself around. I do say visit China town for the best chinese food around and it's right off Broadway so it's local.

Well, if it rains, then maybe Tom and Ed can come out wearing their little yellow rain slickers like they did at Rock Werchter fest a few months ago. X-D
I don't think a little rain will spoil the chemical fun.
