I was somewhat familiar with the chems at 13, I had the remix of "Voodoo People" which was my song. I didn't really get into them until I was 15. Since they've been my favoite group for 7 years. So it is possible to still love a band at that age.

I only really started getting into the Chems about three years ago (around the time Come With Us came out) at the age of 18-19, lthough I'd owned Dig Your Own Hole a little longer. It was just too dense and too hard for me to get into. I'd never listened to breakbeat in my life before, so it was a tough adjustment. I loved Setting Sun, though, and kept persisting until finally things clicked. I don't think it was until I bought Come With Us and put My Elastic Eye, The Test, and the title track on permanent repeat that I really became a fan.
The rest is, as they say, history. It's been an addiction that's cost me more money and time than if I'd simply chosen drugs!

Like a few other people I got into chems when Hey boy hey girl was released, I went and bought it, still remember listening to it on my dad's stereo. My Uncle had bought Surrender around the same time, he put it onto tape for me and I enjoyed the album (the first Chems album I listened to). A while later I bought Block rockin beats, liked the b sides and to cut a long story short, gradually bought random cds over the next couple of years. I've never looked back!!

Ditto!
I've gotta say, for a newbie, that Push The Button isn't a bad place to start, or Surrender I'd say (especially as the first 4 albums usually appear in the sales nowadays!)

I like Paris' swimsuit? Too bad she's a pox on humanity.... and lousy in the sack.
Yeah, but she gave the world Eminem's phone number.
Priceless. X-D
