5 more days!! I can't wait! I've been soo excited about the gig lately that I can't even sleep properly and I don't think the next days will be any better but it's definetly worth it!
btw I was reading an older post from when the brothers previously played in the oakland theater and I read that the crowd was shitty (mainly because they were waiting for new order) ...I really hope the crowd this year gives Tom & Ed all the love they deserve!

When they last played Oakland back in 2005, they played before New Order. It was clear that a vast majority of the people there were older and all wanting to see New Order. Lifeless f*cks. Blegh. New Order played a good set, though, of course. But I hated that almost nobody was into dancing to what the Chems were blaring through the speakers. :-/
The fact that everyone who is going will be going for the Chems is going to make the show great, and the venue is fantastic.

it should be pretty crazy. I know there is a huge group from the Coachella forums attending this, and they're pretty passionate about music. It should be a strong crowd indeed. And hell yeah, that venue looks sweet.

I'm going to be coming to the gig from a wedding... Or, at least that's what it's looking like is going to happen. Augh. I hate the timing of things right now--so cramped.
