i am doing beauty from home at mo just finished work for british library temp job inputting newspaper articles from 1800-1900 to create a web site for people to view. it was cool job but not perminant though. had to input all info and corinary nreports for jack the ripper info which was interesting to c all the papers from that time. also read the original war of worlds book whilst there.

Sounds fascinating. That was definately one of my favorite time periods in british history... when you say original war of the worlds, you mean like a first edition?

me to but dont get alot of time to read nowadays, got 5yr old daughter who keeps me busy. just read geisha though which was ok.

yeah, children can be a distraction to reading. I'm lucky that I have a lot of down time at work, so I spend most of the day reading. Never read the geisha book, I heard it was good, and that the movie didn't even come near doing it justice.

yeah, the film is ok but i read the book first so the film meant nothing to me, i had good visions of the time whilst reading it and the film ruined that. Its a good read though. i like to read autobiographies too. how old r u if u dont mind me asking.

I'm 33, last time I check. Whirlygirl, who I think posted somewhere in this thread, is my wife, and we have an 8 year old boy, who's a huge fan of the Chems, and a fan of Chems fans.

im 35 myself. my girls name is layla and she luv the chems since she been born. im taking her to glastonbury next year wit me, her first festival. kids r cool. layla luv all chem tunes and luv hey girl hey boy and all my soldiers march with me taught her left and right, we had great fun marching everywhere singing chem. whirlygirl said hi to me when i arrived here which was nice and welcoming.
