folks, golden eyes is back! man, things have changed here. good to see many of you are still on here.

luxembourg was massive. to complete the setlist: last one was TPPR. amazing. indeed, probably best chemicals gig I've ever seen.

Am i right that the children in the "hanna/italian"-part are saying "you're all my children now" just like the acid children clown does, only pitched?

Like I said earlier: they put some vocodery stuff on top of the original Acid Children sample and had it repeating "You are all my children". Then the full vocal comes in edited to sound like a monotone. Then they timestretch it at the very end.

I don't know what the transition in Paris was like but that's a completely awesome segue between surface to air and hoops! Reminds me of the 2004 sets (chile?) and I believe hoops' vocals go so well together with s2a's melody. This would definately get me going! Pure adrenaline.

EDIT:

Also, Snow and S2A in one piece is just brilliant. You did a nice job on fitting those ones together so seamlessly. A goosebumps guarantor. I assume you recorded another timbre for that one with Ms Dosen?

Thank you so so much! And thank you chemicalmat for making me not leaving the house all day :D!

I'm just overwhelmed. Just listened to the private reel and it's just a freaking masterstroke. All those new elements like vocal snippets, known and unknown, effects and whatnot. You reinvent yourselves every time. The build-up is just perfect. You teased me very well with those Dissolve snippets (I wouldn't mind at all if it was played right before the reel ;-) )

The Private Psychedelic Reel made me a demon yesterday !
I'm always mad during Chemical concert, but this track !!! I was always saying to me I should, I must see this track alive before my death (or before the day Tom & Ed stop to make magic music...), when the synth of the begining came out of the Dissolve voice I just looked Mathieu (another friend), we were no crying, but not far ! I danced on the track, I made head-banging like never, at the middle of the track me neighboor in front of me was forced to support me because I barely standed lol. The most famous track I've seen alive from the chems...

You just can't imagine the scream I made when I realized they were about to playing the FUCKING Reel...I was mad all the concert long but this one took me to another dimension where I was like fighting with bulls while drowning in lava and having my brain chewed by a tyrannosaure. Magic in itself !

Wow, I just saw the encore on the tubes and it was amazing. This really seems like their most well thought out tour. The Reel is brilliant. It's been one of those songs that never had much changes live, which is kinda why I'm glad they mixed things up. But then they bring it back a changed man! First time it's been segued from a song (which is amazing sounding), the female vocals are brilliant, and the manipulation and swirling of the sounds are a trip. The song, especially with the Dissolve transition, makes the song sound more genuine of a Phychadelic master piece. Also I think the visuals work better for this than even Burst Generator and I'm glad they brought them back.
Btw Hoops/EBW6 is better than ever, nice acid sounds and I love how long and steady the song is. This song seems more genuine/ in it's element too, kinda a trip reminiscent of Pink Floyd's "On The Run" only more danceable.
