so three more shows on this us leg and then a bit of a regroup in the autumn, studio time i reckon

when we're on stage we're always aware of the people who've made big efforts to get to our show, epic travel, babysitting drama, breaks from studies or what not..

Glad you're having a great time Ed!
I hope that I get to take a break from my studies to see you fellas play within the next year.

Such great reviews by everyone. I'm so happy you all had a fantastic time, including Tom and Ed!

I must say though, with the few reminders of the 07 shows in the reviews, floods of memories from that weekend 3 years ago are coming back to me. After reflecting, I cant express how much I appreciate everything that happened on that trip. The experiences I gained and people I shared them with , are absolutely priceless. Right now, I'm feeling a little upset with myself for not properly prioritizing myself to make it out to these shows again. I truly hope we all have another chance to cross paths.

Sounds like a fantastic gig, some great reviews and pics here.

Venue reminds me of an annual event in my city called Opera in the Park that my parents go to where people sit around picnic tables with bottles of wine. It must have been a bizarre thing to see at a chems gig and probably not a good option for slow eaters like me!

In all fairness, the diners were all up front, I know at night that might be all Tom & Ed saw while playing, but most the audience, as I mentioned, beyond the first two area and back were on a diet of alcohol, luckily the whole venue isn't tables!

I liked your point of view on your review BIff! It's a more precise review of gear and instrumental version of the show. I also was enlightened by the names of the gear that they used, so that was a bonus to me.

I notice also the craziness on Believe! All the old people at the show threw away their hearing aids cause they stopped working! Love is Loud!

I laughed when you mentioned UO! (Chromeo joke) Good one!

As for those A-holes that were buggin you, I should of been there!

Last time I saw you, you were freaking tall! So on the next show, you can sit next to me in the box seat...

... you can be my bouncer :)

I didn't notice any cameras rolling, at least not from where I was sitting. I really don't think this gig will appear on DVD.

Beautiful and most detailed reviews. And most precious to me because, seeing Chems live for the first time few weeks ago, I wasn't capable of catching all those fine details you people did in your reviews. First timer and with Chems in this stage of performing - all those visuals and such beautiful sounds - it kinda burned me out :D
But your reviews brought all that back to me, so big thank you for it :)

I'm so pumped now for next year after reading (and watching) all these amazing reviews!

Thank you Whirly and Biff for the time and effort you both put into yours.

The idea of the live DVD is unreachable unfortunately. Most of us have given up on the idea but who knows, the Chem's just might surprise us!

Good Times!
its a little early but thanks anyway

Watching some flicks of that night right now and it really looks and sounds fabulous!!! Nice to see you put lots of effort into merging new and old stuff together.

One question to Tom or Ed or both. Why do you always cut the middle part of Horse Power when the synth meldody is about to come in? I always feel like there's something incomplete. I love that friggin' crazy synthi sound, it's so delightful in my ears and you always leave it off the sound-cake!!!

*Great segue between Swoon and Star Guitar (as far as I have been watching).

Hope you had fun. Keep it comming!

Audio for the Hollywood bowl may be in the works.
Quote from Yacht torrent on Dime:
"Not as good as the show I uploaded last year, I was way back in the cheap seats and there is a lot of background chatter. I will get to the other bands eventually but I can use a little help tracking the CHEMICAL BROTHERS."

Will keep you posted!!!
