on a more non serious note, that answers the question some woman raised long back on the breezeblock show to ed n tom - if we were to bring back some jazz/ blues purist from the 50s and make him hear the chems, WHAT ON EARTH would he think?

Now we know. N everyone remember's Tom's answer anyway i think. :D

Though you can't get much cooler than a jazz musician, they've yet to bring him to a show! Bring him to Nocturnal! :)

I totally love it! It sticks more to the oldschool sounds then the previous album.

The first beat of 'no path to follow' gave me ghostbumps and I ended with the last track 'the pills won't help you now' with a tear drop... I'm still stuned!

Though I love every track on the album in different ways, these are the ones that I've taken a special 're-listen' liking to.

1.Burst Generator

2.Saturate

3.We Are the Night

4.Battle Scars

5.No Need

This was super fast thinking on my part, because it's the only way I can pick any 5 songs and put them above the rest.

Wait, where the hell do I put TPWHYN!? I really liked Clip Kiss, but I feel like they could have done more with it or made it shorter, preferably putting more into it.

I don't usually do these lists, but whattheheck :

In no particular order really :

Burst Generator

Saturate

We Are The Night

All Rights Reversed - still kicks hard - can't wait to hear it on cd today!

Also, I think I'm the only one who think the Seal and No Need are really weak - I like the beginnin gof No Need but then it gets boring - very underworked.

Just listened to it now, first impressions good stuff, not sure about All Rights Reversed, but loving Das Spiegel and The Pills Won't Help You Now. Couldn't help smiling at the Salmon Dance, such an eccentric track!

btw where's my fellow "not to be listened to until.." member Sirbadgealot?? ;)What you reckon to the album dude?
