I did see people walking around throughout the day with big movie making gear. I did notice a cameraman milling about where we were during Hernaan Cantanero's set before the Chems hit the stage, but I was too swept away to notice anything during the Chems.



I really, really hope ElectronicBattleWarrior makes it on there. When we met up with him he told us someone from a film crew came up to him at and asked him about the Brothers. EBW had a really bad cold and his voice was really hoarse - he told the cameraman that the Chems were so good, they made him lose his voice before the show! X-D




That would be sweet if EBW made the cut. Such a good guy. Hope he shows his face around here again some time.

I do hope they come back around to coahcella 06 it would be nice.. but to dream a little dream..



I dont think tom and ed are hating on the US its juts hard for them to get over here and all .. and to tell the truth alot of americans to not appreciate the chems like we do

a lot of americans haven't heard the chems. everyone who i play their cds around says they like them. i just wish they would come somewhere other than new york or california. preferrably somewhere more in the south (atlanta, charlotte, orlando, miami... SOMETHING). it's tough when your favorite musicians tour primarily overseas...

Coachella 2006 is confirmed on the offish Coachella webpage as April 29 and 30, 2006 at the usual venue.

Sorry, misleading post, I know.



I meant that the Coachella festival is confirmed to be taking place on April 29 and 30 in Indio. NOT that the Chems are playing it. My bad, should be more clear.

My uni's final exam period runs until April 27, though I don't know yet when my particular exams will run until. Hopefully they'll end a little earlier in case the financial squeeze means I need to ride the Big Grey Bus again.

It's all about the people and the tunes. Depending on how they schedule things, I'd catch Depeche Mode. Of course, they seem to enjoy scheduling the bands people want to see mostly on at the same time, but......

I don't get what you mean. It's Coachella, not a Depeche Mode show. Nobody's said anything about not liking Depeche Mode. There's a lot going on at a festival like Coachella to placate the people who are there to catch other bands besides Depeche Mode.



Coldplay headlined the mainstage this past April. I'm not into Coldplay, so I went and saw the Chems headlining the Saraha tent instead. :P

I honestly wasn't sure what you meant. It seemed you were getting touchy (you know, asking us to stay home because Depeche Mode were headlining Coachella) even though nobody so much as said a disparaging word about the matter.
