...having the time of your lives at Turnmills -
How did you ring in the New Year?
I will start off by saying my weekend definitely paled in comparison I'm sure. But it was good. On Friday night stash and I converted his cousin, a sort of Chemical baptismal showing him some videos and he finally "understood". Should be making him a mix cd shortly. Then yesterday afternoon we went to visit my friend of 18 years and her family - good to see her parents again as they were sort of surrogate parents to me during my formative latter teenage years.
Then last night we had some friends over as well as stash's sis and her husband and played it low-key 30-something style! X-D But it was all good, it's nice to spend New Year's with the same people we've spent quite a few New Year's Eves with.
And I know it sounds cheesy, but I was so excited for you all at Turnmills last night that I tossed and turned in my bed til the wee hours. Like I could somehow feel that buzzing vibe transmitting across the Atlantic and over this big mass of land called the United States... I'm lucky to have gotten any sleep at all!
And you?

Yeah, Happy New Year. Nice to meet you all! :)
Turnmills was awesome. Me and LusciousLucy and Des and Scooby stayed right until the end at 8.15am. The rest of the board left a bit earlier. Lightweights! :P

Happy new year.
Shit freakin' busy.
Chilled out nye,it was tingling. Friends were involved; friends are the best, though one of my closest is in another province visiting another of our closest. Sup.
currently building a non-label, project-based, publishing company spanning graphics, musics, and writings. Such an experience ought to be splendid, slightly sharp, and not without a glaring resonance; all the while it must bear a culminating venture: a show of monumental standing. And then there's school, and that full scholarship I want, to go into an evolutionary biology/English double major.
I'm an idiot, were it not?

He put on a turn-down collar, a black bow, and wore his Sunday tail-coat. As such, he looked spruce, and what his clothes would not do, his instinct for making the most of his good looks would.

Welcome! What a lovely first post.
Pull up a chair and stay awhile! We wouldn't be a community of friends if all of us didn't stick around talking to each other. :)

I was with friends. We were 8 and we had a great time ! There was my ex gf too... That was the first time i was seeing her since we splitted, so i was anxious... I was very ill at ease at the beginning, and then I sat just next to her (that was not prepared at all !) and from that point, we stayed stucked one to the other during all the evening, and we finaly hugged and kissed at about 4AM, and we slept together, but we both knew it would be just for this night because the problem is always the same : we are too far and she is too undecided. So i had a GREAT new year's eve but now i'm pretty depressed...
