Ah Triffid, I am so glad the Mystery Man scenario at least played out a little bit - now you know who he is, mystery solved!!! And chances are, even if he is married, he's yours for the eye candy whenever you go to Turnmills. You can look at the menu, you just can't always place your order. ;)

That's cool you saw Ed and gave him those pictures. Not trying to be Mr. Ed's spokesperson but I highly doubt he'd think you a stalker - I mean, it's not like you followed him home or kept gazing upon him lovingly all night long (at least, for yours and his sake I hope you didn't!) I'm sure he's had plenty of people come up to him and give him piccies during his lifetime as a superstar dj! Even if you're the first to do that I don't think you'll be the last!

Here' to a good night out!

sneaks,

Yeah, I didn't think you were lying, just wasn't sure if I was getting my meaning across, and I wasn't completely comprehending... you know what I mean ;-) .

Still not altogether comprehending though... you mean my boy's a missery guts??? The other guy - the one w/out eyebrows looked a bit unhappy to me on NY's ('cept in the picture I took), but the last time I saw him, he seemed in better spirits.

When's the city loud nite?

Gundhi,

It's simple as this ;-) : I was smitten, but didn't know his name. My memory's a bit bad (32 years old :x ), and I got confused (senility), plus I'm seriously running out of time (gonna die of old age) which only confunded the problem. I hobbled back down to Turnmills with the help of my trusty cane and found out that the object of my desires is not a DJ as suspected, but is a man of the club. I din't get anywhere with it really, except I found out who he is, which was the important thing.

Currently, I'm still pining a bit, but if he's a missery guts, as sneaky says, then maybe it's for the best that it didn't develop into anything. And if he's married... well, yuck :x , wouldn't be interested at all in that case. I'm a bit fickle like that.

It is confusing though, starting to get confused again, myself. :?

whirls,

Nooo, no eye candy for me. I live too far away. I was in London just for the weekend, so I made it a point to go to Turnmills while I was there.

As for Mr. Ed, I think he was a little, how shall I say... concerned?... that he saw me again... just his expression. It's somewhat complicated: I actually met him once a couple years ago, and, of course, he was sweet as pie. He prob. remembers me from then, though, and I'd imagine if he keeps encountering the same face popping up in different places, after awhile he might start to think something's seriously wrong w/ the person. No, din't stare at him lovingly all night ;-), just looked at him a few times, mainly to give him the pix, I have no idea where he lives, and wouldn't think of infringing on his personal life/privacy. I've been to 3 of their shows, but in each case, I've been fairly high profile (not causing trouble, but really visible), so it's really time for me to stop making appearances everywhere and spooking them. 8O }:-) 8O

I kinda feel sorry for them, b/c they just wanna be DJs, not pop slags, like Madonna or Britney :x w/ ppl following them around everywhere and stuff. And as far as I know ppl don't follow them around - I'm just concerned I gave a bad impression and they might feel like they need to up security now or something. :?

Anyway. Written too much again and it's all much ado about nothing! Drinks all around... :P

Triffid, I dig the way you come across in your posts - especially love that bit you directed at Ghundi. I'm in the 32-year-old club too and I can relate to the whole senility/gonna die of old age thing! Thanks for that, it made me laugh!

Happy St. Patrick's Day, and top o' the afternoon to you.

I've added my last few pix to the webshots gallery for your viewing pleasure, here's a link: http://community.web...ser/wildtriffid

Feel free to peruse and sign the guestbook.

I just remembered something yesterday that had been stashed away in the back of my mind for quite sometime, and it made me think... This friend of mine, in a distant land, far, far away (Florida), once told me that she'd been like an official photographer person for... a club, I think... anyway she was official... and the Chems were to play at the club one nite when she was there. According to her, management for the Chems. didn't want her takin' 'NO pictures!' and they tried to take her camera away. After she recounted this story to me, she told me to ask "Mr. Ed" what all that was about, next time I saw him... 8O

I had no dog in the fight, wasn't there, never asked Ed about it, for I only met him once and wouldn't have had the guts anyway. But now I've started to think... maybe the Chems don't like ppl taking their pictures! Don't know why it took this long to dawn on me.

Well, since I have these ones, dark and fuzzy as they may be, I might as well share them, right? And I promise never to take anymore again! :o

whirls,

Thanks for the kind words, I'm glad you like my style. :D Means a lot to me, especially since I know how hard it is to type at our age, what w/ the rheumatism, bursitis and arthritis and all. ;-) And I got the dementia, too: I noticed at least one mistake in my post to Ghundi (wonder how many others I missed, not as sharp as I used to be) - "confunded" should confounded... :? And can a problem be confounded...? I know I am. Maybe a problem can be, in the same way an experiment can have confounding variables... aaa, nevermind, I'm getting way too wordy. Anyway, thx a bunch, sweets. I'm soooo enjoying your posts, too! :D

OMG I've started it, promissed photos and so far just this note comes up.

Only who believes and have enough patience will get to see the pictures then after all huh!? =D

Yeah, I'm a n00b in HTML I got to admit, but I know now how to put them in the web somewhere and then link in here.

But that's not a why, and the reason is that I got so pissed off by getting at Turnmills at half past twelve and couldn't get the VIP access, because I had to bloody work that day, even though I had a request of that day off 2 months earlier, when I had paid 50 quid for the tickets. Bosses are evil sometimes. "They are coming back": I've got a new job, should have quit on that day really, NYE... modaphuk3R's ! =D

It's Okay mate, noice one, noice one, here comes the pics

I'm gonna do it now instead of watch a film and go to bed.

Stand by transmission

Are you blind? I see... because that wasn't CAPS, that was just a BIG font instead of normal and in RED instead of normal black, I was hoping someone to help with the pictures, to put them online, and all what I got is this... OMG .. you wanna know what I'm thinking mexican chemical?

Save it...

I'll tell you something else.. I've promissed some pics and it's fair enough if I find a way to call attention saying what I said before. Like HERE - HERE, we are still ON!

GOT IT? (in caps very visible)

Make us smile, otherwise don't bother me please.

Can you help me to put these pics online?

KingStars, you may want to go to www.villagephotos.com

It's a fairly decent image hosting site. There's different options for accounts there, but for starters go for the free account. You won't be able to post pics here unless you upgrade your account at villagephotos, but at least you can provide a link for us.

Hope it helps! :)
