^ hehe, I would learn the ins and outs of being a publicist in a heartbeat if given the chance. But alas... that opportunity hasn't come knocking.

Anyway - I don't know honestly. I wish I did, but I don't. I do however think that comment was more to do with US dates than dates elsewhere around the globe.

If you think about it, the Chems last full stop in the US was, oh, 5 years ago? We already know touring the US is a pain in the ass. We already know the Chems have reached a point in their career where they feel they don't need to "break" America. If we figure we're getting a US tour from the boys every 5 years, IMO I think it'll certainly be a while before we get that chance again. At least that's how I'm reading into it, but my guess is as good as the next person's really.

If you stop to look at the gig lists... thats some pretty serious touring. Theres a stretch there where they are in a country with a different language each day for 7 out of 8 days. Thats a lot of hotel room, pr agent, local promoter, local media, local security, fanboys and fangirls. Electronic rock and roll, with what must be a pretty incredible tour logistics team behind them!!!

We are of course still waiting for some more Australia dates to magically appear :) :)

Is that videobundle really necessary? They are all on the singles DVD. Where are the 'new videos' including the award winning 'Believe'.

Strange things are happening with all this digital release stuff.

Maybe there will be other volumes of video bundles to acompany the b-sides? I think the newer videos will also be released in time. My guess is right now it's the Christmas rush and the bundles is a bit of cross marketing in a way, and also a way to test the digital waters and see how sales fare in this format. I could be very wrong.

I caved. I downloaded iTunes to get a hold of Silver Drizzle and Snooprah (my recordplayer broke so I haven't heard it on the Salmon dance 7"). And because Irish said 'Let me in mate' was longer I want that track too. You bastard!!:) Still one of my favourite b-sides.

BUT the bank blocked my credit-catd for no reason!!! So I can't order it from iTunes!! Normally it takes 1 day to reactivate it. BUT it's friday!!! Monday I have to work till 10pm. So I have to wait 4 days after my decision to download it.

Aah f#ck. I hate the digital era.....

rynostar, all though i would be flattered to be part of the chemical brothers myspace with my picture with Tom and Ed, there is a more appropriate and more deserving photo floating around in one of the Nocturnal review threads...

it would be hillarious....

I think it's great that since the 'Anyone for jerk chicken' refernece on the vinyls that forum members are being recognized in subtle ways in the outside chems world. somehow i could see it that whirls or stashs or jeanies name come up an etching on a future release.

chemicalmatch.com!!

Ryno - I've been on this forum pretty much since the Chems had a forum, since 2001. Biff's been here just as long, same with chemicalfan, sneakerbeater, thesouphead and anType I believe. Iguanapunk has been here for ages too, and there's others too that have been here for so long but maybe aren't as active. Before that I was on the Chems mailing list for a year/year and a half or so until the list gave way to the messageboard. My husband started posting here in 2004, after I told him I wanted to meet up with some people from here when we went to England. I think he signed up so he could keep an eye on me and make sure I wasn't using the Chemical Brothers to be my adult friend finder. :P Nah - he's just as much a fan as I am, he's just not as dorky about it as I am, hehe.
