and here I am starting to go around to organizations saying I will work for free for 2 months so I can complete my program. Mind you it is a placement for school. I'm hoping the free thing really hits home with them.

@Whirls, at least you got chocolate

I remember you talking about that, Mipps! Hilarious, though: you're the only one who is -waiting- to get laid off. ::laughs::

I'm actually showing up more or less on the dot these days to ensure that I give my firm no reason to let me go. Mmmmmboy.

Tom and Ed being at Coachella is the only way I can convince my husband to make the pilgrimage to to the fest. Otherwise he and I butt heads on this one. I love Coachella and would go every year if I could. Him - he'd rather have a root canal then spend all day in the heat with the unwashed masses. :P

Mia, I wish you guys would come for the whole Coachella weekend. I really think you two would enjoy yourselves exploring the full on music experience outside of The Chemical Brothers. But I can understand the intense heat isn't for everyone, let alone the price tag to go with it...

I'm already getting antsy and can't wait for April!

I wish we could too, Bosco. I love music festivals! I'd go to more shows in general if I could. The musical acts at a festival serve as lead ups to the cherry on top that is the Chemical Brothers. And I like that. Half the time I don't even want to be in the thick of the crowd necessarily - I just want to be where the music is, relaxed, checking out the acts... and the people watching that festivals provide is always a bonus!

But Jim and I always butt heads when it comes to Coachella. Of course after seeing the Chems he says "wow that was a great night omg I had so much fun thanks for making me go"!

Waiting for my vacation request to go through @ work!

Are you camping or staying at a hotel Bosco? I'm in the early stages of planning so I wanna go all 3 days and come back to work on Tuesday. Just love the sun so I'll be carrying a gallon of Arrowhead on me!

HEY JEANIE!!!!

I'll definitely check out zee track. Great to hear from you.

A recommendation that I'll pass on from Mipps: Trentemoller - Take Me into Your Skin

Fucking, fucking, fucking amazing. And possibly a good track for f*cking.

I've got a great weekend coming up with Alexis, and I'm stoked. It's been a little while since I've seen her. And I'll definitely be listening to quite a bit of Trentemoller this weekend... =)

Oh my god why must I be teased with this "Chemical Brothers" being added for Coachella!! But just in case I end up going to the fest, I booked some time off from work (the 16th through the 21st of April which should allow for sufficient recovery time).

Plus, I need the time off from work. I'm getting burnt!

Another thing is I hope these folks over at the Coachella board aren't expecting a full blown live spectacle like in 2005. The tour is over, no more lugging around all that gear and if they do play, chances are likely it'll be a DJ set.

Hell, Tom and Ed could do an iPod DJ set and I'd be thrilled. Their mere presence makes me happy.

Yeah, I get the feeling that a lot of people are expecting a one-off live gig. And the chances of that happening, I get the feeling, are less likely than a snowflake's chance of survival in the fiery depths of hell.

Dude, rock.

I don't think my refund is going to be anything worth my time, but hopefully the stimulus will have made it worth my time when it comes around in a few months.

We do really cool things and are one of the leading agencies in Holland. It's like saatchi & saatchi, but than online. I have to work superhard, as everybody here have a degree in something and i don't, so i have to prove myself big time. But i like it :-D

I've got a new boyfriend since half a year, Jerome, and i'm very vry happy. He's crazy and has ADD so we fit well togheter hahahaha.

Besides that not much partying, because i am so busy @ work i am to tired, but summer is comming!

STIMULUS FTW!

Glad you're doing well Jeans, and congratulations on your promotion!!!!!!!!! :D :D :D

I just found out that our recently passed stimulus bill isn't going to cut us a check all at once, it's going to cut down each month on the amount of taxes we have to pay. I'm stoked.

THE WEEKEND STARTS HERE.

Well, at least in a few hours. I'm still at work, but I'm feeling an awesome wave of positive energy toward this next month. YEAH!!!

Congrats Jeanie! Here's to you :lifts glass and drinks: and kudos to the new promo and new man!

And Pooter, don't forget the recent California Budget that raises income, sales tax, gas taxes, and car fees for us. Cheese!
