I am looking for a copy of a concert of the Chemical Brothers and Fat Boy Slim. It was in Red Rock or something. The show was televised after the fact, but the TV show can't give/sell copy's of said show under copyright laws. I am dieing to get my hands on this concert. Can anybody help me?

Okay, I was almost going to give it to you, but you misspelled "dying."

–verb (used with object), die·ing.

5. to impress, shape, or cut with a die.

Is this the same gig we've got a live video from on the dvd, and Norman can't stop raving about? Is there an audio version around?

Yes, it was filmed at Red Rocks in Colorado -Fatboy and the Chemical Brothers - and was aired on MTV. Fatboy opened with a DJ set and the Chems played live and the video I have bounces back between Fatboy and the Chems, so it's out of order but still cool nontheless. I have an old and overplayed taped recording that was aired on MTV's program they used to have called AMP. I also have a bit that was also aired on MTV that is more interviews than live stuff.

I wouldn't be surprised if you can't find this floating around the net somewhere if you search. Maybe MTV has an archive, or something? I'm usually up for trades, but I'm not willing to part with my dusty tired video cassette and I don't have the means of making a copy... sorry...

And Jack, you are correct - Hey Boy Hey Girl from the singles dvd was from Red Rocks. Norman once said that was the hardest he's ever seen the Chems performing at their best. I don't know about an audio version except a really low quality bootleg of the gig that makes your ears bleed in parts. A friend gave it to me on disc, god - I don't even know where it is at the moment. I haven't seen it in months.
