I was originally on the one podium, but this really fit (but insane; she's the one Jeanie mentioned about wanting to kiss Tom and Ed) Brazilian girl pulled me across to the other podium (where Jeanie was). She was fun and danced with me for a fair bit but was a bit whacked. She asked me if I'd like to come with her to one of the back room to 'talk', but I said I'd rather stay in the manic grip of the Chems tunes. There was no way in hell I was missing a single moment of that set.

On behalf of all men who do not get invited into the back room by hot brazilian women I hereby kick you in the fleshy patch where your balls would be if you were a real man.

Having a girlfriend + being put into a Chemical trance = Brazilian girls don't matter much

I wish now that I'd stuck around to see Jon Carter and Justin Robertson but with Ed Chemical hanging out with us and considering how battered I was, I don't think I had much choice in the matter.

Oh well, after the emotional highs of the Chems, I kind of felt like I'd achieved what I'd set out to see on the night.

NYE...

Had a wicked night as usual....far too tired from travelling back to type lots...will go for a faith style rocking & shocking bullet point thing....

**Rocking**

Loads of those "fuck me whats this" moments as per usual

Mips & I deciding that "yep thats def the wiggliest thing they've played tonight

The galloping horse techno track again

The "chemicals good, chemicals bad" sample

Ed for coming out to the back room and chatting - what a lovely fella

Charlie, Mips & I singing Sound & Vision with big grins

THE NIGHTWRITERS EDIT!! - my favourite house tune getting the tom n ed treatment. "mips that sounds like the nightwriters cowbell......."

Erotic Discourse at various points through the night....wonky

**Shocking**

The scrum in the main room. I was actually punched in the kidneys right at the start - not house.

Not having our mates there...sod em they missed out!

Being far too wrecked to hold a cohesive conversation with anyone - people off the forum and ed. apologies if I babbled....it was lovely to meet you all....

The pics from the cab ride home - put those jaws away in the back please

Our cab driver not having a clue where he was going

The Mrs telling me "tom chemical is a very sexy man in the flesh" - he's also married Charlie....and not as nice as me

Pool back at Mips....hats off to Tim who was the only person who seemed to remember how to play....and also hats off for coming from canada to rave......thats dedication roy castle would be proud off!!

Feeling old....some the forum lot had been to fabric the night before, chems NYE & are heading to trash tonight....I'm heading for 30 soon - will I have to start playing squash rather than raving?

"seasons greetings"

Sorry to keep butting my nose in this thread but... Just spent a good portion of the early evening looking at all the photos. Thanks to all who contributed to sharing pics so far, it's so great to see all the action.

Darkstarexodus made his way into a lot of them - way to gurn... I mean... way to go, son!! ;)

A wall to wall lovefest of sweaty bodies, dilated pupils and the look of hard dancing on so many faces. Seems like Ed was game for quite a few pics with the fans, which is so awesome! I see Luscious Lucy's friend Scooby had a very nice send off too.

THANK YOU!!!

hello everyone. can't be botherd to leave much of a reply at the moment as i am absolutely knackerd. the set was excellent as everyone has mentioned. i ended up dancingwith this blond (the two that was on the bass speakers dancing) for about an hour and a half. she asked if i had a girlfriend, she couldn't quite comprehend when i said yes i do. i danced with her anyway out of politeness and why not, it's harmless fun. so spent the last hour of the set bumpin and grinding when all i really wanted to do was dance properly. the looks i got of the other males was priceless. in the end i had to fuck off to the back of the club till she found someone else and buggerd off. ;-) Had a good dance for the rest of the nite. really enjoyed blur at 8am, that woke me up again from my sleepy dancing. some girl asked about my very lovely LEMON JELLY t shirt, which is, i must say, amazing!! :D

had to wait till 12 in the afternoon for my train back to brum, then the local train to tamworth. got home for 4pm. Then i had to go for a new years day dinner which i was very late for, but i got fed so it was all good. then when i walked home that nite i got attacked by 3 little fuckers who tried to mug me and smacked me on the head with a stick. off course they didn't get anything cause i managed to get away, but fuck me my head hurt the next day, but oh well bring on 2006 hey :?

Damn dude, that totally sucks! I hate that kind of thing, it's like the scum of society.

Shame we didn't get to meet you, you must have been right near us if you were on the bass boxes though. Glad you had a decent night in Turnmills though, the tunes were spot on, weren't they?
