it not like you can improve on the original but the cover still has a nice vibe about it

Video reminds me of "seven nation army" by the white stripes.

Music is very simple, easily produced, but catchy.

Overall, pretty good.

It's a nice interpretation of the song. It's got to be hard trying to live up to the Brothers - there's a lot going on in their music to try and recreate for a cover. It's not bad I don't think.

I love shinichi osawa, I think his mondo grosso stuff is really forward thinking in terms of alot of te electronic scene in the last few years. the song is a good cover. the lasers in the video are cool, remind me of the live version.....but every women in that video made me feel like I'm just in another hipsters olympics or another MTV produced glam sham (hills, real world or whatever shite they produce nowadays).

I actually really found myself liking that cover of Star Guitar. The video was good, although I would have gone in a different direction with it.

Always nice to hear when somebody does something good with the Brothers' music, though.

What I love about this cover is it's just like the Klaxons cover of It's not over yet, they've not messed around with it so much that you can't get the feel of the origional tune. They've just used different instruments/sounds to recreate a classic song. Overall I am ver impressed with this :-)

I truly hope the brothers got their royalities! :-)

On the other hand, I pretty like that tune. It's got lots of energy. The drums are superb (Yeah, I'm addicted to drums in general) and the guitar/bass whatever is driving. Could imagine myself dancing my ass off to that. If it had been finished by the the single's release it should have been definately on it. The Peter Heller rmx sucks a bit imo.

Btw, that vid looks a bit Gondry-LetForeverBe-like...

Hmm. This Star Guitar cover was light years better than anything on that yucky Chemical Brothers tribute album! :P
