I'm trying to ID a track the chems played at the last glint party - they've played it a few times recently...I distinctly remember them playing it towards the end of the night at bugged out @ sankeys earlier in the year

it's a stripped down acid track - just a clanky drum machine and a really wiggly acid line....along the lines of the seratonin project track (sidewinder) but not as busy or hectic sounding - just a classic acid sound...

any ideas??

um yeah true...

bit tricky in the club enviroment though, I have trouble holding on to the usual wallet/baccy/rizlas let alone a mini-disc player and mic...

I admit it's quite a loose description....but the only way I can sum it up is 'wiggly'

I think I know what you're talkin about, I have an old set of around the time they changed their name to the chems (the BBC1 radio set I believe) and they have this one acid track that is in the area of you're description. Are they low acid noises, and are the drums pretty slow? Last, does it have a noise that sounds like someone whistling?

I don' t think there are any whistle noises - it's def a track they've started playing recently, it's not on any of the old mixes I have....

'fraid I can't give a better description than that really - just that it drops to a kick and a wiggly acid line, Tom always seems fairly animated behind the decks when they play it....

cheers anyway mate...

sorry my memory of the track is fairly...um sketchy - I'm not sure if it has a vocal......I just remember this really wiggly low slung 303 line and drum machine
