My feelings are the same now as they were then.
Any changed minds here, especially now that we have more traffic?
How about some of the newer people that are silently frustrated (or not ) - what are your thoughts? Don't be shy now. ;)

we should have a chemical talk forum only concerning chemical brothers matters like releases, videos, new songs and chemical questions. probably a section for concerts and sets could be included, otherwise i'd vote for a special live and sets forum as well, only for past, actual and upcoming concerts, tours and sets incl. questions about them.
next, there should be a general off-forum for all the "bullshit" (hello to jeanie) that is posted. including a marketplace-section where everyone can offer their chemical brothers stuff they don't want any longer or give links to chems sales, incl. tickets etc.
the archived forums suggestions for singles CD and come with us should be closed. their content should not be deleted but just closed. relevant content could be copied in one of the other forums
i might have forgotten something... so, c'mon!

Personally, I don't see this as a bad thing; I enjoy the eccentricity of the forum, though I can understand why some like a little more order.

Or, begin as a discussion about which remix is the best and end up discussing Zimbabwean tourism.
WRAHAHAHAA X-D
Peronally , i think the msgboard is good this way , mainly just cause i am used to it...and Dark makes a good point , almost 50% of our threads are about 10 different subjects at the same time.
Should we re-organize the Forum , i think Goldenboy made quite a good set-up.
And we REALLY should keep the Bullshit thing in...i mean , it works obviously , we kinda try to keep all the useless i-am-bored-let's-talk-about-transformers talk in one thread , without opening a new tread for it...But a WHOLE Bull-section might be...to much.

nah, with whole bullshit section i mean things like your bullshit thread , now eating, acid clown photoshop, now playing and discussions about other artists like prodigy or daft punk. everything that is not chems-related

I'd keep the archives just rename it to the 'dust bin' or something, then when ever a thread gets old, a moderator could close it and move it there.

Chems Sound & Image
Albums, singles, bootlegs, videos, pics, etc, etc.
Chems Live
Everything about live stuff, asking other people if they're going to X place, where are they going to play, sets, etc.
Offtopic
Everything non chems related, even other bands, but remember this is chem's forum and not Christina Aguilera's forum (thank God for that).
But please, don't fill it with bullshit. :)

Yes, off topic discussion occur, and they're completely necessary. How many times can you really say "WOW! I LOVE THE CHEMS!" "YES! I LOVE THE CHEMS TOO!" "GREAT, LET'S SUCK EACH OTHERS DICKS OVER HOW MUCH WE LOVE THE CHEMS!"
seriously, how much discussion you can have about a band that only has 4 full length studio albums?

But the point stands. I would worry that the Chemical-related forum would stagnate in comparison to the bullshit forum. I know I don't read/post Chemical Sets nearly as much as Chemical Talk and I spend (seemingly) half my waking hours on here.

i don't think it would be too much work to have some extra mouseclicks to browse between different forums
