I see you guys found out about the awesome dutch 'culture' called 'Gabbers!'
In the early 90's, this was huge in Holland.
Now, i would like to point out, that 'Gabbers' are not the same as skinheads or nazi's.
The real gabbers, who started out from the beginning, are very much against racism and fascicm.
They wear 'Londsdale' gear which was originally a clothinglabel for black boxers.
Also, they wear nike air max, Cavello and Australian tracksuits. The guys are bald, the girls usually have their hair pulled back very tight.
The atmosphere at those parties was always quite good; gabbers were always quite a close group of people. Maybe that also has to do with the amounts of XTC that were taken...
How do i know all this? Not from my own experience because i was only 7 when this kicked off in Holland, and even when i was older i never really liked it. (It's still quite big in Holland, but the scene has changed)
Every other person in Holland used to be a 'Gabber' in the early 90's...including my brother, who still has a poster from a gabberparty that says "United Gabbers against Racism & Fascism.
Here is a video that shows the true party spirit at a 1995 party called 'Digital Overdose' (my brother was actually there)
