It's from the OOC-Single, hence it's from the Surrender-Era. But it totally sounds like it's from the DYOH-Era.
Anybody knows more about my thinkings? Maybe i'm right?

Dunno, sounds to me like Surrender-era them doing a take on their old big-beat style. Something about the production sounds very unlike Dig Your Own Hole to me.

^ditto. It has a Get Up On It Like This taste, but it feels Surrender to me.

well i know they made a point of moving away from the DYOH sound while recording Surrender

I always presumed this was a song they rejected during the album sessions for sounding too DYOH

It has always felt like a part of Surrender to me. As a matter of fact, I've always felt it should have been included on the album.

All the b-sides from that album were spectacular.
Gonna work it out...

I really love this track but i think it can use some remastering. load the waveform in editing software and you will see why.

I think we are due for remasters, period. We can keep moving forward, but getting some old stuff up to current standards might be appropriate at this point.

Maybe as a 20th Anniversary gift...you know, for the fans.
Gonna work it out...

I'd say there's certainly enough audiophiles in this fandom to merit it...

What's the point of remastering thing? I'd rather get some fresh tunes!

agreed, it's not like their older stuff was badly transferred from vinyl or anything, it was originally mastered for cd anyway

I'd love to see a comp of the early Dust Brothers EPs, and maybe early b sides and remixes

One of the better B-sides from Surrender imo. Love the intro but it'd probably scare the shit out of me if used as a wake up alarm!
