LET FOREVER BE (1999.6)
He put on a turn-down collar, a black bow, and wore his Sunday tail-coat. As such, he looked spruce, and what his clothes would not do, his instinct for making the most of his good looks would.

M83 - Lower Your Eyelids to Die With the Sun

I challenge anyone to find a more melodramatic song title. You know it's either shoegaze of post-rock when.....

:D Neither can I!!! I was just in the car listening to Temptation and Star Guitar. It sends a shudder down my spine. I can't believe that was back in April because when I listen to that set, it feels like it just happened! It's also so great because it melts away any jitters or stress I have.

At the beginning of the set, before Tomorrow Never Knows, we burned that little bit that ElectronicBattleWarrior recorded of all of us screaming and him and stash yelling "We love you Tom!! We Love you Ed!! MILOCOOOO!!!!!" (and there's my ultra unfeminine man-scream in there, hahaha) It really sets the mood.

Oh yes, when that song breaks down then builds back up... it freaks me out big time. The whole show is a highlight, but that song really takes the cake.

It's almost embarrassing to think how I acted during that song at Coachella. I must've looked like a freaky fan-girl!
