Gawd. The tags were a mess. I just spent an hour pruning them, replacing tags with buzz words and inserting new tags in pertinent threads so that the Hot Tags portion on the main forum page actually makes sense... People, if you could please not go buck wild on the tags because you're bored, that would be really great.
The tag feature can be really effective in helping find topics if threads are tagged properly.

for you n00bs out there, please refrain at all costs from starting new threads when you could post under a thread that already exists. Only if there are NO threads that have something to do with what you want to share with us, start a new one. Otherwise look for a thread appropriate for your thoughts.

Hello all i'm thandeka from liverpool, finally got the guts to post in this unique forum! Inspired by Jeanie's massive post which i can completely relate to.
Acidchildren persuaded me as well, i'm the random girl you were talking to on the N5 bus after the roundhouse gig btw - hello, hope you went on to have even more of a good night?
The gig was out of this world - my first, and hopefully not the last time i'll be seeing them play this year.
I have been a fan for a few years but only found this forum when looking for gig and album info.
Just wanted to introduce myself and say how much i love the chems!

How it do?
I've read some of the forum topics before and figured it is a good time to introduce myself.
DYOH was my introduction to the Chemical Brothers and I have been a fan ever since. At this point I own all of the major releases and singles (on CD) as well as some of their remixes and other goodies.
Although I'll be getting my OFFICIAL copy of WATN in July, I've been listening to it for a few weeks now. I am very happy with how it comes together as an album. Right now my favorites include Das Spiegel, The Salmon Dance and Burst Generator. I also like Saturate but prefer it in its EBW 8 form, and I'm really hoping EBW 9 is released as a bonus track on a CDS. Big fan of EBW 9.
I might join in on some other conversations after I fulfill my obligatory n00b post.
happy fact - I finally heard the Radio 1 Anti-Nazi Mix today for the first time. I love BGWIO, but this mix is just different enough to make my day. Thanks Tom & Ed for the "good things" page.
sad fact - I've never had the opportunity to see the Bros play live. Yes, I am well aware of how much I am missing out.
That's my story.
