Awwww. Well, you definitely get an A for trying! We know you were there! :D
You didn't have a disposable camera did you?? I took one to Coachella when the Chems did a dj set. I was so close, right up against the stage for most the set. And not one fucking picture came out. I almost broke down and cried at the photomat!

Alright, I got off my ass and scanned my (Chem-related) Coachella pics..... Here we go!
First off, a pic of the venue: The Sahara tent (exterior)
And the interior of the tent, during one of the DJs in the early evening
Hernan Cattaneo, as his set is winding down. Note the Chems roadies setting up their equip in the background. At this point, the anxiety and excitement were palpable in the air. Get off the stage, Hernan!!!!
Tried to capture the laser-spray of Get Yourself High, but it didn't come out all that well.
Speaking of GYH, here's k-OS from earlier in the day.
When the strings of Galvanize hit, the place went off!
Under the Influence/It Doesn't Matter....when the robots are still chilled.....
And when the robots go insane!! (and so did I!)
Star Guitar = pure bliss
Believe, while a good studio track, is a GREAT live track
The guys who bring so much love! No, not Bert & Ernie. It's Tom & Ed!
And, what Chemical pic set would be complete without the acid clown?
Wish I'd had film left for TPPR (and for the Prodigy on Sunday), but no such luck. Still, memories forever.

Right at the beginning of The Private Psychedelic Reel, a gap opened up and I was right against the barrier for the entire song. Unfortunately, I had no film left, having snapped off my last shot for the acid clown. It was amazing being within 15-20 feet of Tom, Ed, and all the equipment. It was a special moment because the crowd just seemed to part before me....
Sunday at the Prodigy was even closer because Keith and Maxim came right to the edge of the stage. I could've spit in Keith's eyes, had I been so inclined.

I think Darkstarexodus managed his way to the closest spot out of any of us. I remember closer toward the end, I looked over and he was gone - then I saw him and he was soooooo close to the stage!
It was so strange, because the crowd really fluctuated throughout the set. I'd be lost inside my own head and I'd look over and a chain of anywhere between 3 and 5 people would be snaking from the side, and clearing a sort of pathway in front of me all the way to the middle. Sure enough they'd snake back out after a few minutes. At some times I felt we were being pushed further back, and other times some space would clear and we were up close again.
Damn, we were really close! I get all warm and fuzzy inside just thinking about it and looking at the pictures *sigh*. I've been up front for their dj gigs but as far as big concerts go, it's an exceptionally rare treat I'm so close to the stage. It's great to be able to see the expressions on their faces and really see them interacting with their equipment and the audience.

Yeah, I totally got separated from you guys about 2/3s of the way through the show. The music was calling me closer and I had no choice whatsoever except to listen. A couple times I looked back at you guys and the one time I saw EBW getting a bit emotional, I ran over and clapped him on the back and, I think, hugged you guys. But then the music called me back and I was gone until about 2 minutes after it was all over.

Oh yeah, I meant to do this earlier. Here is the beer selection at the overpriced, trendy Beer Hunter.
See as we stalk the exotic Belgian abbey-style through the very foreign environs of retirement country in California...... Oh, I believe the beer has spotted us and will certainly attack our liver..... ACKKKKKKKKKKKK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And I forgot this in my initial Coachella review, but I narrowly missed the chance to chat with James Lavalle. Shortly after his set had ended and Josh Wink had come on, I was looking around the tent and saw someone who looked remarkably close to James Lavalle standing about 10 feet behind me, chatting with a sexy girl. I did a double-take, then turned around to tell EBW about it, and by the time I turned back, he was leading the sexy girl backstage. Two minutes later, they're both on the stage, cheering Wink on, and the girl is dancing next to the decks..... I thought I saw him again on Sunday, during Miss Kittin's set, but I was too tired to harass him.

Cool, thanks for sharing those great photos, liquidray! :D
I'm not sure if the torrents are still active, since I downloaded the set a few days ago - but here's a link taken from pg 5 of this thread:
http://www.ahole.org...24320564d6ad078
I think it's also uploaded to themixingbowl.com as well - but I think you have to be registered in order to access the site.
Also check this thread: http://forums.theche...der=asc&start=0
A person here has worked out a way to distribute bootlegs and such and he's got the Coachella set uploaded.
Best of luck!
