there was an extended version where the outro gets explored at length.

Where! ? 8O

Kid A to me is the best album ever composed, EVER. It's perfection on a compact disc.

Rex the Dog - I look into mid air

My favourite electro producer at the moment. Great stuff. He is obviously an 80's kid, like me :D

So if you like Jan Hammer, Jean Michel Jarre and other syntesyser musicians from the 80's but you are ashamed to say it, check Rex the Dog and you will be hip in '06 :D

Les Rythmes Digitales - Jacques Your Body (Make Me Sweat) (Full Intention Vocal Mix)

I love the original, and this remix is wicked. I didn't know Les Rythmes Digitales and Jacques Lu Cont were the same guy. Another good french electro music maker :)

Radiohead - You

One of my favourite Radiohead songs, beautiful, bombastic, longing and fiery.

Been in a very Radiohead mood this weekend, and so.....

Radiohead - Like Spinning Plates (live)

Based on a gorgeous, lush piano workout, this song is completely unrecognizable from its Amnesiac studio version. Twisted and disorienting in the studio, it is sheer yearning and beauty played out live. Undistorted and clear, Thom Yorke's voice has hardly sounder better and more pained. Stunner.

Radiohead - True Love Waits (live)

A real shame this tune has never been released in a studio version (we know it's out there, somewhere!!!). One for the true fans, this one is a guaranteed tear-jerker. Emotive and beautiful. A Thom-acoustic number, it's intimate and special.

In fact, the entire I Might Be Wrong EP is wonderful and makes me really wish I'd caught this band live a couple years back. Their Hail to the Thief tour was also pretty excellent by all accounts, and I wish they'd release the Beacon Theatre show on DVD, considering they played it in movie theatres across North America to celebrate HTTF's release.

Looking forward to their new material. Don't know why I'd gone Radiohead-free for a while, but I'm diving back in, remixes, b-sides, and all.....
