I finally, FINALLY, got this album last week. I haven't stoped listening to it other than to listen to American EP :) I absolutely love it, I should have gotten this much much sooner. Its so hard to put a figer on why its so good too, its like the chems making music that sounds like their own with other people's music, its just great.

BGWIO is always really expensive here in Britain, its always costs around 17 or something :x . Is it worth paying that much for?

Hmm...depends on how much you love the chemical brothers. Personally I'd say no just cause I'm a cheapass, I got my copy for 10 bucks American used. You might try ordering it from a US based online music store, but then the shipping might negate any money you save.

Actually, I like the Anti-Nazi mix of the material, better. BGTWIO is basically just a cleanup of the same mix, with some different tracks.. (most likely for licensing they couldn't acquire for a full release)

Live at the social is ass kickin', but at times is very slow-going and, er, boring. BGWIO is very good, especially 4 & 5... however Live at the Social has some better tracks (this of course excluding everything must go/lemon) so I suppose that........... BGWIO and Live at the Social are equals.

Don't listen when someone tries to tell you that the better of the two chemical brothers releases is Live at the Social rather than Brothers Gonna Work it Out.

The latter of the 2 has like 5 times the energy and 5 times better tunes

From what I have listened to in our local shop, BGWIO is not as good as the Crystal Method's "Community Service".

Sorry. ;-)

No way - Vegas and Tweekend are too far away from each other to call them "same old stuff". 8O

Tweekend is the new album. Community Service is a remix album like BGWIO, and I think you can't compare them to each other, just like BGWIO can't be compared to Surrender and DYOH.

Thats what it says in the sleeve. I really like BGWIO better then Live at the Social. Community Service is a very, very good DJ mix CD. I think it is better then BGWIO ( only by a bit )
