I've not heard of any of them. I'm sure MX Chem will know them all. I prefer french music to latino music, it's so much more better! Check out these bastrds:

-> DJ Falcon

-> Thomas Bangalter

-> Alan Braxe

-> Les Rythem Digitales

-> Cassius

-> Air

-> Daft Punk

-> Phoenix

hey!!!!!!!...and what about italian artists? they're the original "latins" and they're so f*ckin nice...the italo-disco era, the best pop music is made by italian composers (that's a school book fact), good deejays like picotto, piu and gianluigi d'agostino... 8)

welly welly welly well, if you want some good house trax, you should check the mexican & argentinean scenes...they're so f*ckin good and they're bangin' in Europe clubs right now...also, another mexican electro band, Titan...Fatboy Slim made a remix for one of their songs, Corazn (Heart, a Carole King original), they are separated right now, but they were groundbreaking in Mexico (you should listen these ones too). :x

(and what about italian artists? they're the original "latins" ) ----> what tha f*ck ??? i have nothing against italian people but that's not true.

And yes, you should check the electronic latin scene, it's quite interesting, lots of experimentation, and i think in my perspective it offers you more than french scene, for example, cos all the frenchies sound the same.. you know, that disco housy melodic bassline thing..

are too true!!! argentina i reckon has a wicked house scene. there are 2 producers from there i can think of the top of my head, london 909 and cutlab. they produce some quality cuts!!!! buenos aires has one of the best clubs in the world, pacha. my friends from soulfulhouse.com were also booked to play a few gigs in buenos aires, even through that feel through eventially!!

i reckon the reason that i like house music so much is that the music is so anonymous. i mean anyone could have made it anywhere round the world. it's not limited by language or cultures. i don't think any other genre of music has that reach. i love the fact that i can mix all these tunes, and have such a vast international flavor of sound. i kinda think i'm babbling now so i'll end it there. if you want to here something with wide ethnic sound i recomend you listen to my 'alterbeaters : tn3 percusive thinking' mix on my web site.
