The Coachella Film

Hiiiii Everybody!
I was wondering if anyone here has seen the coachella film and if so what chemical brother stuff is in it? I've tried to find out what songs are in the doc (I'd place money on the predictable HBHG or BRB choice like in the woodstock film and other such), but no such luck. Any help on whether it's worth buying/renting would be greatly appreciated.

dude, we have the same dilemma. I can't find anywhere to rent it, and I'll be fucked if I'm going to pay $30 to see them do one song like BRB or HBHG (I'd give up the $30 for for the acid clown, but nothing less) and then have a disk full of shit like tool, prodigy and coldplay.

I agree with you on that stash (and the other bands). That's the problem with movies like these: they really don't appeal to anyone directly, people that listen to tool don't want to hear coldplay, and coldplay fans don't want to hear prodigy and friends don't let friends listen to prodigy. Plus after seeing the woodstock movie, the songs were edited down and the film was basically footage of women flashing for the red hot chili peppers over BRB with like 9 seconds of the actual chems show. Worst Concert-doc Ever!

haha the ravers look like the one on that "That's my bush" episode
"You drop it and you rave, jack ass!!"
"You are high George. You are very very high!"
"I'm in the hole... I'm in the k-hole"

I kind of like the video, but more for sentimental reasons. I could've done without the talking bits interjected into the music, but then this isn't a Chems video, it's a Coachella documentary. Fair play to a great festival that had the balls to respect, recognize and showcase brilliant electronic acts like the Chems as well as resurrecting the festival circuit here in the States. It wouldn't be what it is without the crowd and yeah, the glowsticks, enormous sunglasses and raver beads are a bit over the top - Coachella has always had a great mix of friendly people of all ages just wanting to have a good nite out. phatmanmike, I was at that gig too, lost in that crowd of misfit ravers and hippes. Once the music starts it doesn't matter if the world around you is falling apart. As long as everyone's dancing their asses off and having fun (and not putting any eyes out with glowsticks gone astray) it's all good.
