I'm going to Brighton tmrw for one night, anyone got any suggestions for cheap midweek drinking/clubbing? (to cheer my depressed friend up!)

Argh i am so frustrated.Si ce 7 am my mum and aunt are re building the house. They are removing the wall between the kitchen en the livingroom. My room is NEXT to the kitchen so i went to my brothers room to sleep as i am fucking sick.

I couldnt eat or drink or shower or whatever cause downstairs it's so dusty. And i couldnt sleep cause of the noise.

Great timing to get sick.

Nothing's worse than needing sleep so bad and you can't sleep. For me when I'm sick I can sleep about anywhere, but my body is so uncomfortable that the littlest things bug me and wake me up - stuff like noise from the tv in the other room of stuff going on outside.



Maybe try those earplug inventions you created when you were in Japan? At least it would help with the noise.

well, rikki tiks is a good cocktail bar. polar central near the train station is good if u want comfy sofas, good tunes and a chat.



for clubs, avoid west street like the plague and most of the seafront. try the volks along the seafront (they usually have good midweek stuff on), the union (used to be the zap), the enigma and the ocean rooms.



dunno what yer into, but there prob the best undergroundy sort of places.

Today on the Metro, there was a guy just in front of me listening to My Elastic Eye. I wasn't paying attention and then the song started, and he was listening so loudly that I could hear (only) the beats, but i recognized it immediately :) I tried to make more showy my "Chemical Brothers" inscription on my coat, but I don't know if he saw it.
