My husband put it best. He said LOST is like paying off a car. Once you're in, you're in it for the long haul. After a while, there's an obligation to tune in. The series finale will be like finally fuckin paying your car off after what feels like ages!
That is bang on....it's a pity that it's essentially a write off on the day of final payment though...I might get the series to watch again in the future but there's a lot of it I'll skip past...

We were going to have a LOST luau party for the season finale but we're pretty much the only people we know that are into the show and tune in every week. We've been re-watching all the seasons, actually because our son is into it now (he was too young to get it when we first started watching). It's been interesting seeing how it all ties in but I don't know if all this alleviates the overall sense of confusion this show seems to bring.
I was gonna do that but I'm ahead of a lot of my friends...many have seen up to last season but as it moved to Thurdsays this year they've missed loads...so it's me and one friend and a lot of snacks!
