I HATE YOU I HATE YOU I HATE YOU

seriously, I'm going to have to give up the forum until after New Years... it's not so much that you get to see the Chems, but that you all get to see them together... seriously, every single one of our friends (all, like 4 of them) are completely, mind numbingly boring, with the exception of my dealer and his girlfriend, but those two are too fried to even have a conversation with.

So? Get equally fried, and you'll have better conversations then you've ever had with them :D

no no, these two are seriously fucked up... lessee... the called at 2am on christmas morning once, asking us to go to a warehouse party... they showed up banging on my door at 5am once, I still don't know what they wanted, or if they thought maybe it was 5pm and didn't know the difference... they've met my brotherinlaw like 4 times, even went clubbing together once, but I still have to introduce him everytime we see them... no fun... they take so much e that there's little difference between them and hardcore meth tweakers.

Aw come on, they're super nice, though. I was expecting SO much worse from what you guys led me to believe. I was expecting complete lack of coherence and physical inability to stand up straight.

Well, I can see where he's coming from, they are quite spacey and if I had to deal with them on a regular basis I'd probably have the same opinion he does. He barely scratched at the tip of the iceberg with some of the weird times and places they've shown up looking to party, but they seem basically nice, harmless (except to their central nervous systems) people.

*shrug* He knows them, I've just met them. Compared to what I was expecting, they were nice, but I can totally understand where 'stash is coming from. They remind me of a few ppl I know here.

I wouldn't necessarily pick them out of a crowd as hardcore space cadets just from looking at them. Although, if I had a boatload of E on me and I was at a club, I might try to be less conspicuous than doing tricks with an LED-light glowing yo-yo....

It's just difficult finding that line between Dealer and Friend.... or it could be that they didn't even know who the Chems were until we showed them the DVD.

I currently don't have any friends who deal, so there's a bit of inconvenience factor. It's mostly third-hand connections right now.

But now that you mention they were clueless about Tom & Ed, I fully withdraw any positive comments I made about them.

Our two friends are actually very nice people, very benign and very friendly. They are always on the go, they live for clubs and they're always up for a good time (but never up and out of bed before 5pm)!

We've had them over a couple of times for a more relaxing evening just chilling at our house with good tunes and away from the hustle of clubbing and it was a change of pace for them. But they seemed to enjoy it. I think they left our house around noon or so - definitely plan on being up til the sun is fixed at high noon when you plan an evening out with them!

We told them, "you're welcome over anytime" and they took it to heart. One morning around 5am we woken out of a dead sleep. Someone was frantically rapping on our front door. Our son was with the grandparents spending the night and the first thought that ran through my head was "oh my god... something's happened to my boy!!" Half naked, stash bolts to the door expecting to find either the police or a weeping relative on our doorstep - instead he finds our two friends completey buzzed out of their gourds. I felt bad but we had to turn them away, I mean, 5am?? Not up for it. We told them to please call next time before they decided to just stop on by. We get calls all the time at many ungodly hours, "hey guys, what are ya doin', we're at this incredible party" and you can hear all the commotion going on in the background.

I do worry about them though. I honestly don't know how they can function. They've been at their lifestyle for so long and they aren't stopping soon and they aren't getting any younger. You can't go on like that forever...

I wouldn't say they were clueless about Tom and Ed. They know I love them and they heard me going on and on about Coachella and all that. I mean, every time they come over, that dvd is on and they watch intently. And they always say, "man... this is good music... man they are really good live... man, this is an incredible song... man, this video is awesome"

I honestly think they don't remember. We've hung out with them enough, but every time we see them they ask us 1.) how long we've been together and 2.) how many kids we have!
