Took some GHB this weekend.



It was so... 'eh' didn't even bother to post it. I don't understand why people bother.

One of those things where it's worth it to try, I guess, and I could see using it under certain circumstances, but it's the interaction with alcohol (ie. bad idea) that would make me find it mostly useless. If only for social camoflague I usually need to be able to put a few drinks down. At least if I drink while on pills I don't drop into respiratory failure, just need to up the water consumption a bit.

Seconded on "meh". I didn't dislike it, I tried tiny doses to keep an even keel but I'd rather have a few mojitos or drinkie drinks instead. If I get drunk I know how my body is going to react. There's no telling with ghb - not worth the risk of overdoing it which is really, really easy to do and I can now see why. I can now see why it's easy to overdose on that shit. Worth a wee try because I could, but no thanks, not for me.

Apparently I missed out on some fun last night. I crashed out around 1:30 AM but got 3 rather vulgar and amusing voicemails messages (and 7 calls in total) around 2 AM inviting me out for a night of debauchery. My fucked-up friends were mystified by the fact that I now have Beefy as my voicemail message. :)

glad it all went well, i love dj'ing when really battered adds a certain comedy element, especially trying to read the record label X-D

the trouble was i couldnt see the labels ive put to mark the tracks on my midi, so was triggering the wrong tracks and loops.

Got away with it though - god bless Ableton!

I don't remember making this post at all. Or being driven home. Dear god.





Saw A Scanner Darkly last night. Fantastic movie. Unreal. I was stone sober and when I walked out of the theatre I felt as though reality had been subtly altered.



Then walked around the Village for a bit while pregaming with some vodka + energy drink before taking in a punk Bruce Springsteen cover band and getting absolutely twatted on Stella.



My alarm didn't go off this morning, so I was two hours late for work (was supposed to start at 7 after getting home a bit after 3) and I was still quite drunk (I shouldn't have driven to work, I should have told them I was staying home; bad me!). I was feeling fine by noon, no hangover, but my second energy drink of the day didn't agree with me and I started getting rather ill. Lasted out all but 30 minutes of my shift, then came home and just finished vomiting. Lovely.



Going to get some sleep right away and then rinse, repeat tonight probably.

A messy end to a night's debauchery, in true classic Tim style!



We felt a little buzzed after watching A Scanner Darkly too. My depth perception felt a little off as well.



Our son is visiting grandparents in Arizona, so that means mommy and daddy can have some real quality buzzy goodness this weekend. Last night, stash made some brownies (the gooooooooood kind) so in about an hour we're going to eat a couple, then hop on a bus and go downtown, and I'm sure grabbing a few drinks is on the agenda too.

When 'A Scanner Darkly' was over, I felt the need to state, loudly and clearly so the rest of the theater could hear, 'Hey! Let's go get really high!'

great night great music alorugh i ended up with glass in my foot.

I want to go out but prudence is telling me I should cuddle up in front of the fire with a movie. But I'm starting to wake up again and I'll probably get a phone call or three soon.......
