Still a little grumbly about being denied my Orbitalz, but I'll hold out hope for the future...
Thank you! Really happy you enjoyed it!

gotta say that whilst chime is one of my top ten of all time. this is weak. no need for it. dont think it all works tbh. its nice they have done something but its a bit pants. was hoping for a complete reworking as opposed to slinging some sleigh bells over the top. hopefully there is a longer xmas version that makes more sense. which is something that the original single suffered from imo.

I think this may be just a new album from Paul. Still, interested in hearing it nonetheless.

Is there a link to the replay yet ? Is it an Orbital track or just Paul alone then ?
I really hope they tour again soon. I missed the last tour and their live shows look so amazing, from all the videos I've seen !

Thus ends my chance of ever seeing them live (outside of Paul's solo work). Sad to see them go! Wonky felt like a first step towards something bigger. But Paul's new stuff is definitely to be looked forward to, his old solo album The Ideal Condition was really good.

Really fuckin' sad.
I felt like I found out that someone died. It was that sad.
I mean, I'm certainly not going to mourn the loss of Orbital the same way that I would loss the actual death of something, but this is certainty--they're not going to make any more music, and I'm probably never going to see them live, ever again.
Well, except perhaps a one-off at Glastonbury or Coachella.
Fuck.
I had the chance to go see them at some god-awful "festival" in 2012 with a bunch of other marginal EDM artists. And I passed it up because my friend couldn't go. And now I'm left to regret not going to see them again because I assumed, obviously wrongly, that I would be able to see them again when they toured with another album.
God damnit. Really fuckin' sad.
