In Poland we have a few fine places. First (my favorite) is Zakopane and Tatry. I LOVE the mountains, i could live in there if i can. There is also a fine city called Karpacz - also in mountains, on the southside of the Poland. On the northside is Gdynia, Sopot, and Gdańsk - the GRANDE TRIO :D ...and beetween the north and south are Mazury - very lake'y place. I have this lucky to live in Gdynia - the sailor's city, and i'am happy to that, because i have 1-2 km to the sea and beaches and chicks and so on - all atractions are for a hand! :D Lovely. But the weather in Poland are very unstabile. The rarity is the sunny day after day by a month or two. If today is hot, sunny day, than tommorrow for sure will be raining. Very changing weather - almost like in London ;-)
What for the sea..The Baltic is very often a hardly dirted by a glons from may to almost an August, so You can bath and swimming only in August for sure :? , but my girlfriend is a toxygologist, and i thing she really do something with it, someday X-D I hope.
And a Poland is very misserable. The example is that concert of Chemical Brothers, wchich was planned in Sopot in 21 June, and now is recall. You know, peoples rather want to go on a free of charge concert of local disco-polo show (poor peoples) that to a concert of world fame artists for a 10 euros - paranoia. I'am bad as hell for this. And i think, the EU is not helping for a Poland at all. EU for now is sucking a money for this poor country, and they must to be really a decades when Poland will get a positive feeling about EU. For now Poland is very larceny country in the government, and i don't think a want to live here. I planning to live for a year to other country, when i will end the University.

Yes, the show was cancelled, because of low sale of tickets - about 1000 throught two weeks. But when i was get back with ticket they talk to me, that was many reservation for a tickets...I think this was screwed up by organisators...hmmm, maybe tickets was too cheap - only 11 euros, i don't know. I'am just fucking pissed about that. That was my only ocassion to see them live :'(

Oh no, equinoxe... :'( I'm so sorry to hear about the cancellation. Oh my god, that's just so sad. You've waited so long!
I would hope this wouldn't be your only once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to see the Chems. Back before Push The Button came out when they were doing a few shows in South America, they planned a stop in Mexico City. Tickets went on sale - then boom - the show was cancelled (result of not being promoted, I believe) All I have to say is poor robot.mx, all the build-up and anticipation, only to have all that hope come to a screeching halt!!
Then only a few months later, The Brothers rescheduled... robot.mx got his ticket, and was able to have the best night of his life! So, you never know what the future holds here. The Chems made good on the cancelled gig in Mexico City, and maybe, just maybe they'll be able to make good on the cancelled Poland gig as well.
I really hope there's another reason besides lack of ticket sales as to why the Chems were cancelled. Only 1000 tickets sold over 2 weeks time - seems like there was a glitch in organization perhaps. 11 Euros doesn't seem like an unfair amount of money to charge for a big concert with a big name, it sounds like a bargain actually. There's got to be another reason for the cancellation... please let there be another reason other than low ticket sales... :(

Well, 11 euros is very cheap, maybe too cheap...Maybe that was a reason of cancelling. Another reason would be, that on 7 July is the Heineken Open Air show with Fatboy Slim and Underworld in Gdynia. The ticket on both concerts days cost 300 zł (about 70 euros) and more peoples want go to this shows...I don't know, but i know one thing - I MUST SEE THEM SOMEDAY!!!!!I'am planning to go out my country to work...Maybe i meet them somewhere in Europe :)
