the name freq beats reminds me of the dj called freq nasty. has anyone ever seen freq nasty?? one scary looking geezer. i saw him a few times a the boutique when it was co-host with bugged out at london's fabric night club. he takes dread locks to another level!!! he also loved to drop 'under the influence' in his sets.
I'm a fuckin doughnut

I know someone who met him a few months ago up in Los Angeles - he played a warehouse type party and dropped a killer set (of course I wasn't there, this is hear-say.) And apparently he was really really cool, too. Looks can be deceiving.
be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle

Although I gotta say, it must've taken forever and a day to grow those dreads!
definitely!! I had dreads for several months -- they're hard to maintain!
He put on a turn-down collar, a black bow, and wore his Sunday tail-coat. As such, he looked spruce, and what his clothes would not do, his instinct for making the most of his good looks would.

I was gonna go see him a few months ago, he was supposed to be playing at this club who get loads of kickass DJs in (The Rhino Club in Southampton if you were wondering!!), but he pulled out for some reason. Don't mind though, coz the Plumps are playing there again in a couple of weeks! Not missing that one, it was superb last time!

Yeah, that's the one, they had loads of name DJs there, despite the fact it's so small!
Last year, they had the Plumps, Stanton Warriors, Avalanches, Stereo MCs (crap), and a few others. The night's called Limited Edition, they had FC Kahuna last week, but I couldn't make it :(
