Hello hello. I finally got tired of tinkering with my new song (every trick I have tried in the last two weeks has failed). This one has a couple of small things that I would have liked to correct but somehow I just wasn't able to do it. This is the final version and I'm off to make a song for the forum cd now! :)

The Nightly Build (it's about four minutes long, and ~ 5 MB)

The song is dark but not noir. Any comments are really really appreciated!

( + + ) X = this

I finally managed to borrow a turntable and phono amp and sample the crap out of mine and my brother's records. The above mp3 is a messy mash up I did this afternoon after a heavy sampling session this morning. It's pretty all over the place, but it was a bit of fun. Everything in the mp3 is from a record that was sampled today 8-). Copyright wise it's hella illegal, but as I said before it was just a bit of fun. $20 to anyone that can name all the records I used ;)

That's the problem with this thread. Either it's too quiet or then there are new songs on it daily and people will not bother to say anything about them.

Well, a single message board thread in a general talk part of a forum dedicated to one of world's most famous electronic artists is probably not the best place to promote your music. :-D

the thing for me is, owning a damn slow 56 kb modem is quite impossible to download large files. in the case of dsl or something i would review more . . . but the technology isn't by my side . . .

For me it depends on inspiration, motivation, and free time. Most of my stuff is still incomplete as I start new tracks at the drop of a hi-hat.

The only complete track I have ever posted here took about 3 weeks to create though.

Sometimes I make a track, finish it, then weeks later go back to it and decide it not actually finished and needs more work .

So... can anyone tell me what they think of my mash-up? If you have the free time and don't have the philosophy of the other two people who quoted me earlier ( wants to see who they are, but has to go)

Y'all come back now.

Well for starters you're going to have to compress the .WAV files to .mp3 because wavs are too large. Then you need to find somewhere to upload the file to, someone else can help u on that.

Just download goldwave open up your wave file in it and then save it as an mp3.
