Aaaw to bad you missed the DnB party Jeanie...

Anyway I went Ape yesterday :P. I went to this quite big highschool party in town. It had like three different dancefloors (in size order)

1. Trance, House

2. Schlager, general hits (like fuckin crazy frog :P)

3. Hip-Hop, dancehall

Floor 1. Was pretty cool with it's lasers and good dj's. But it was so big that it felt quite empty when dancing on it, and it had some nasty foam cannons .

Floor 2. Played un-danceable music and just did'nt had a good mood to it.

Floor 3. Was easily the best one :D The place was really smock-fulled and the crowd had the best dancers of the three floors.

Anyway I had a good time, I can't dance very well but as soon as you let go and go with the music it's allright...

On the con-side, there was no good flirting possibilities ;P

I find that hard to believe. The opportunities sometimes need to be created, but unless you were in a male-only party, there were PLENTY of possibilities. And even then, Mippio would tell you that you should've gone for it! 8O :D

It definetly takes some time to build the confidence to approach a good-looking stranger, but it's usually worthwhile, even if you get rejected. Character building and such.

This weekend will be a calm one for me aswell. I really have to study :(. The only thing i have planned is going with my mate and watch

"the linkping symphony orchestra" perform Mozart this sunday. It should be interesting, cause I have never seen an symphony orchestra live before...

It's kind of an acquired taste, really. I can drink it now, no problem but what I hate is that you're zippin chicken for about an hour, then the world comes crashing down.

I remember I gagged when I first had Red Bull. It tasted like carbonated Robitussin and it was so disrupting to my senses. If something tastes like Robitussin, it better be thick and syrupy and it better pack a better buzz than caffeine. ;)

Well letsee.

Last night we went to see a film called Mirrormask. It's only being shown in something like 3 theaters in California, one which isn't too far from where we live. I've been waiting and waiting for this one because I dig Neil Gaiman's brand of surreal storytelling, but I was a bit let down by this film. It was very trippy and cool in an abstract dream like sense, but I think that was the main problem with the movie. Given Gaiman's storytelling, it's just sort of difficult to translate that into film. It was far too abstract and at times surreal and creepy for children to enjoy, and the story was just a bit too childish for adults. The music in the film was absolutely god awful! I haven't been that disappointed in a film's soundtrack before. The score sounded all new-agey and jazzy and it just didn't go well with the scenery! However - the film was insanely gorgeous to look at. Pretty much the only thing going for it.

Got to sleep in a little bit this morning which is nice. Drinking a nice cup of coffee right now.

Tonight is a friend's 30th birthday party. Supposedly we're going up to Los Angeles for a bite and dancing, but I have no idea which club, I hope it's not an 80's club!

I miss my little boy, who's in Arizona visiting 'stash's dad and stepmom for the weekend.
