freak of the week
wow, that's still a fucked up track.

Haha, great idea for a thread especially considering so many people change their minds about favorites (like I do).
Freak of the week is pretty damn sweet. It sort of reminds me of puzzle pieces that were held aside, then put together later on. There is so much going on in that song, plus there are different emotions going on in the tune but it all fits together so well.
Lately, aside from Midnight Madness - my current best is The Duke. It makes me want to get up and move! I love the low squelchy noises and the funky vibe of this track.

Been listening lately to live versions of 'Get Yourself High'. It was one of those tracks back then that I have to admit, had to get use to and give it a few more listens, but when I saw it live, I loved it even it more!
I've been playing it this whole week when I hit the freeway to work.

Oooo, Seal! That song doesn't get talked about much 'round these parts. It's my favorite b-side from the We Are The Night era (at least at the moment, that could all change in an hour). I love how seductive and moody the track is. It's probably one of the sexiest tracks the Chems have done - my opinion, for what it's worth.
I wonder if anyone's solved the riddle of what the lyrics to Seal are yet...
Has anyone been revisiting/rediscovering previous tracks that are suddenly your favorites? I've been feeling that way about the Singles bonus disc for a couple of weeks now which explains the deep love I currently feel for The Duke.

every day i rediscover "enjoyed", which for me is the psychedelic brother of out of control, absolutely stunning; sometimes it's my ending track of a set...peace- but powerful too.
and the breathtaking morning lemon. morning lemon on a strong hifi system is awesome.
and i agree, seal is indeed very tight.
for today, the best chemsong is out of control as so often...pure energy comes up hearing that song...also love the "new" visuals of OOC. killertrack.

Filling up a brand new iPod at the moment. Ive tried but once I start to play Morning Lemon I can never skip it on or turn off. Cannot find fault with that track. Also sticking a playlist of Chems remixes on there and had Jailbird and Like A Motorway on full blast today as well.

I've been listening to way too much Morning Lemon recently. So to change things up, I listen to the "Brothers Gonna Work It Out" version which segues into "Mars Needs Women" by Meat Beat Manifesto. That's gotta be one of my most favorite segues ever.
