Cartnulance, I highly recommend you not to talk about your musical tastes...just say you love the Chems and it'll be OK.
By the way, Further is still goooood !

@carnutlance: i don't think you should stop posting about your musical taste. it's ok if you like basshunter, prydz and deadmau5.
for me i think deadmau5 had his big sell out 2009&10 which goes along with a decrease of the quality of his productions. but before 2009 i don't like his tracks either. i'm not so into progressive house / trance. renaissance records did a good job in the 90's with proggy sounds.
prydz sometimes releases good quality under another alias. but in general i don't like the releases on pryda records.
what 50 cent and new eminem is for hiphop nowadays is prydz and deadmau5 for techno. it's all about mainstream, and you can hear this in their productions. something wich everybody can listen to, nothing special. no soul.
for basshunter: not even a serious actor.

Thank you. I'm glad people like you still hold onto the truth of free speech and opinion. I don't want to be who i'm not because SOMEONE says their not cool, as if i'm going to believe that one stupid remark from one person summarizes the entire agenda of the population's opinion!

I could write a whole review about Dissolve alone. It's such an uplifting, rocking-socks like catchy tune, fully loaded with chemical history-future. It's just chemicalicious!!!
For me it would also win an award for the most misleading intro on that record, if not in their entire dicography (in an absolutely fantastic way). It all starts so warm end fuzzy. Mellow strings rising gently like an overture to an awesome morning full of happiness, a deep bass kicks in and merges into an arppegio that still tries to divert you from what kind of monster is going to run all over you in just a couple of micro seconds after that. This intro always feels like "you can do everything, right here and right now" to me and gets me in mood to jump up and just dance or bouncing my head or raising my hands to swing them to the beat. It never fails to give me the shivers.
THe very first time when we only had those short snippets available to listen to before the offical album was released, I thougt, "wow, this is going to be a beautifully relaxing song". I had no clue what was coming towards me when I firstly pressed play and Another World faded into this humongous detonation of sonic sophistication. They really managed to put all their past and future sound together in just one timeless piece of sweet waveforms. Simply a perfect song from an almost perfect band on a sublime record. Reminiscent and yet so fresh. Kudos!
The video for it is just as good! I love it, it's so trippy and colorful just like the song.
