I don't think Legion of Boom is that bad really. It sounds a lot "softer", going for a more streamlined approach as opposed to the punch that is Vegas and the sort of crunchy sounds that appear on Tweekend. Still not a bad record but I know a few Method fans who feel that LOB is their weakest effot.
I still love Vegas, for me it's withstood the test of time. Great driving music.
Oh, and welcome to our black hole in the universe, TheFlamingDead!

I think Legion of Boom is one of the best records that have come out this year (but does that say something about my ability to find better alternatives, oh yes it does).
On the other hand, TCM forum seems to be in a bit of a worse state than this one. The problem is not the lack of people using it but rather the lack of constructivity. I remember someone saying there that people posting on the board are extremely short-fused and I think that it leads to a lot of flamewars and general unwillingness to accept any new ideas.
And there seems to be a lot of polls.

I really didn't like LOB when it came out, but it grew on me. There are some excellent tracks, but I agree, it's their weakest effort. It's more commercial I reckon, and nowhere near as innovative as Vegas and Tweekend. I had a look at the TCM forums, and yeah they aren't in the best state. With topics like "Real reasons for taking drugs" and "Hate To Say It, But Most "Dance" music Sucks...", I was a bit turned off. And in the Technical forum it's a bunch of people asking for TCM samples and patches . That and it doesn't look like TCM post on the forums, unlike the Chems :D. Respect to TCM for putting high quality lengthy snippets of every tune on their album online though, that's a gutsy move.

True, but the audio quality isn't the best. I'm a bit of a snob when it comes to audio quality - I dislike mp3s because they don't sound as good as the cd.
But yeah, even though they aren't full songs on the TCM website, at least the audio quality is good enough to deliver decent amounts of bass and treble so you can play it loud and get a feel for the song. You can hear the song with the chem's site, but it sounds like it's coming from a crappy little boombox. Not that I'm complaining though, they were one of the first big names to put full songs online, even if it wasn't very good quality encoding.
