hi west. this is the first time i've been online since last thursday. I got off for my summer holidays on thursday and was partying from then till yesterday. got to my bed yesterday at 1pm for the first time in a few days and slept till about 11am today.

i have recieced those files. thanks for those sets.

where did the 27 July 02 gig happen?

i dont have the other two gigs you are looking for; Live at the Rex Club, Paris or New York 2002/11/02

don't use torrents. setup an irc chan with an xdcc bot and have someone with a dedicated connection host them. that way all the files are accessible and you can manage who has access easier, so you don't have to trouble apocalyse alla time. just an idea.

torrents would be the best way to send the files out to lots of people.



Does anyone have any gmail invites left? I obviously have a big big collection of chemical brothers performances and could share alot of I got an invite.

i only say irc cos you have the benefit of real time chat. torrents can be dodgey too, given the random speeds and crackdowns. course im on 56k too so that doesn't help.

realtime chat is cool, but where are you gonna find someone with a fast connection willing to give away the bandwidth for free? Torrents are cool cause everyone shares everything, so if one person goes offline it doesn't matter, the rest keep sharing. I've got no idea how to set it up, but someone can maybe head off to www.themixingbowl.com and do it that way. Mixingbowl is good cause if you don't share you get banned, so there's almost always people sharing the sets that are uploaded for ages.

I belong to TMB and so does mongoose. It's a good way to get some live performances

I can't seem to connect to TMB, looks like its down just now. I only have cable upload bandwidth, but I'd be happy to help seed things if someone has a tracker they can post files on.

to upload just e-mail the files to me. ( thechemicalbrotherslive@gmail.com )

when uploading just remember a few things;

1. remove.mp3 from the file extention (wen i send files ull have to add .mp3 to them) this is so gmail dont know its an mp3.

2. you can only send 10MB at a time so if a file is too big use winzip to split it into two files and send it over two emails (don't remove the .zip so i know this has been done, put part 1 at the end of the name of one and part 2 at the end of the other)

3.in the subject of the email, put the date of the gig (dd/mm/yyyy) the venue and the track numbers of the attached files. (this helps me sort the emails quickly)

4. in the body of the mail put the names of each of the attached tracks (eg;

Track 1 - Hey Boy Hey Girl

Track 2 - Get Yourself High etc.....)

If you do email a gig to me, when i update the list of gigs in the chemical brothers live downloads thread ill credit you for uploading them.

i'm not giving out the password anymore. i have a lot of e-mails asking for it. you pm me your g-mail address and the gig you want and i'll forward it to you. there was too much traffic on the old one.

Sorry for possible newbieness. But do the chemical brothers allow taping at their gigs? My mate said they don't.

usually it is NOT forbidden. however, there are aome locations that won't accept recorders or even cameras.
