yo! been a while, had exams that were just over at the end of june, straight back into work, no rest for me. taking a break from social activites for a while. The last few years have been too hectic to say the least. As for relationships = non existant at the moment. Sorting other things out before i embark on that again.
Whirly/Stash congrats on the anniversary:
Mippio: Mid Week benders are what being unemployed is all about enjoy ot while you can
Jeanie: ditto in the whole being interested in unavailable people, also girl i'm interested in is one of my best friends so have that to overcome.
csar: ha i think i need to do that apprenticeship as well

Not much to say about me really - single, still working in same place, still learning Polish and going there in about a month for a few days. I recently discovered playing snooker on a full-size table, and a rather good album called The Brown Album ;). This post could be interpreted as me being unhappy with my life but I'm absolutely fine :).

@Pooter: all the best for your love to-be. Hope the trip is worth it. Btw, weren't you a lawer or something related? How about an obressive contract with her???
@whirly/stash: Hooray, 15 years of love held together through true chemistry. Don't know anything about Twitter, but i reckon you've got quite a lot to twitter about ;-)
@Prochem: hope we will hear some of your music here??
@Jittem: envy you for a trip to Melbourne, really.
@Den_B: Good to see you're able to deal with your state and life is treating you well. Good luck on your driving licence. Don't worry. It got me three trials till I got that god damn driver's licence (those thick'n ugly examiners:lol:)
@Irish: What were you studying again? I feel like i'm too late now as most of the firms applying deadlines ended.
@Jeanie: I hope you reached the end of the rollercoaster's loop and life calms down a bit for ya.
@MCMarsh: Isn't it great? Nothing changed significantly and you're happy though?
@Inchem: Why searching for a new place?

Totally forgot mips: shame we didn't met in london back then. Can't understand why such an ambitious, dynamic young producer is still unemployed. Don't drink too much as it causes brain cells massacre deluxe.
Did your 13 hour drink fest look like this: http://samueljscott....mer_simpson.jpg ?
Well, hope you'll get you a proper job soon!
Let me know of your new tunes.

Yea, mips - I hope you can find some work soon but for now: Hooray for reverse sleeping patterns!
satur8 I never thought I'd bother with another social networking site, but I finally caved and opened up a Facebook account in December... after going to a friend's funeral. It's not like I have million friends or anything, but after going to that funeral and pretty much allowing myself to be isolated during 2008, I realized I never wanted to be that out of touch from my friends and family ever again. It sounds cheesy but I am a bit of a Facebook addict. :P
As for Twitter... I'm not sure what possessed me (maybe it was the novelty of having a snazzy new phone) but I opened an account. I hardly ever remember to check Twitter, and maybe it's the phone application but I find it a little cumbersome to use. I also tend to be a bit wordy so when I do post tweets or whatever, I always end up getting frustrated at having to amend what I write. So I just don't bother all that often. It's really not necessary to tweet about every bowel movement I have and I'm not into stalking celebrity bloggers. Plus I'm now getting these emails saying "so and so is now following you on Twitter" and I don't know who the fuck these people are or where they came from. I mean, Twitter is all fine and dandy and is a fantastic promotional and marketing tool, and some people love using it just to keep others updated on such-and-such, but I'm just not that into it.

@Csar: Yes, I'm a paralegal, and I'll be an attorney in 4 years. :-) Not a bad idea with the contract. LOL Although, it'd be tough to work in sex--contracts aren't enforceable in court if they are based on illegal activity. ;-)
I've got a Twitted account that I never use. I don't see the point when you have Facebook.

Profunk: Summer classes are nearing an end. Currently taking Eastern Philosophy. I'm starting to think I'm a Buddhist, the closest thing I'll ever get to religion. I'm trying to get all my summer plans done before Fall semester Aug 17. And might go see Crystal Method, since they're actually coming to Oklahoma! OMG right?

whirly: Thanks for the insight. I'm sorry for your loss but am pleased that you gained something you needed, as well. At this point, I don't have a personal motivator like yours. For me, I visit several public forums like this and generally keep up with current computer/gadget/technology and trends. However, these days I prefer to keep my old skool anonymity and have let My Space, Facebook and Twitter pass me by. It's funny, my fiance is on all of the major social sites yet I've still never bothered with a Facebook page. My stance has been, "I'm not a student, I'm not a musician (DJ, anymore), and I'm not single, so I don't really need to promote myself". However, I've recently switched jobs and my former co-workers keep banging my inbox with invites, so perhaps my thoughts on the matter will be obsolete in mere weeks.
profunk: your avatar/sig is still awesome

@satur8: Thank you once again. I just KNEW it was perfect when I saw that episode of Venture Bros. The funny thing is, that guy must have had "Firestarter" stuck in his head for almost 10 years, considering that they probably haven't played it on VH1 since the late 90's!
@prochem: Sweet, dude! Have you shared anything lately? I don't remember seeing you recently in the "Post your tracks..." thread. I'd love to hear a sample of your work.
Posted 28 July 2009 - 7:15 AM
Ah thanks for the compliments guys. I never really share any of my stuff because im constantly editing it. I can never be satisfied. Whats worse is with my rock music. My style is closest to Primus/Tool so it is very tedious. I guess i'll post something somewhere sometime soon. My myspace hasn't really been changed in over a year and there are some really crappy things on there.
As for a job, I am working on music/sound effects for a video game right now, but i'm not supposed to give any details. I won't get much money, but it's just something fun to do. Aha, don't be surprised if you see my version of the Animal Track that I made myself pop up somewhere.

sounds sweet prochem. Lol nice idea to throw in your own version of the animal track. It reminds me of a friend of mine who used to get payed for making scores for several computer games. It would be pretty cool imo, creating music to a particular themed game.
