Dry Spell Approaching!

It's that time of year!
A few posts here and there! A little mention of shows lately, but it's been a hell of a year so far for the Chems!
So now we're at the final stretch of this years tour, and god what knows what will happen after that! Anything to expect at the last minute from the Bros is highly unlikely (ok...possible) ! Further already has a year on it's belt, most of us saw them live this year, and now the activity of this forum has been light, but I guess we'll hold the flame a little longer till the end of 2011!
Thoughts?

I signed up during the gap between We Are The Night and Brotherhood. Back then I wasn't particularly active so it didn't bother me that much but it definitely was agonizing waiting for news! Things picked up a bit when they were touring Brotherhood (what with the incredible setlists similar to the ones we're getting now) but then there was that looong period where all we had was an interview where they said they were in the early stages of making an album. I was so relieved when that Coachella show came and there was finally some new material to mull over! I'm already anxious for the next time something like that happens...

I only really started to appreciate the Chems since the We Are The Night tour and joined the forums in 2009. But I never really said anything cause there was some scary people in here back then . But my love of the brothers kept growing to the point I couldn't shut up any longer. Since the release of Further, reading the forums has become part of my daily routine. I have learnt so much from this place, I love it. And this year has been amazing, they came to Aus, and we got the f*#ckin encore! And I have read or watched clips of just about every other show they have done. I so love seeing their music evolve in very subtle ways almost every time they play it. I can't wait for their next album, I have a good feeling for 2012? Could we be that lucky?
Further Remixed There's nothing else...

There's been lots of dry spells over the years and I'm confident we'll soldier through this one as well. Then when there's new material, we can expect some excitement and people to come out of the woodwork.
The forum gets a bit lonely and desolate in a drought but it's to be expected. Like Krisper, the forum is a part of my daily routine. My day begins with my morning cup of coffee and to check on the forum... it's like a habit! And I check throughout the day. I've learned so much and have gotten so much out of this place - from both old timers and new folks - over the years. Though for personal reasons and life getting in the way, I've been a bit quiet when it comes to posting on here and don't have it in me sometimes to argue and post my opinions like I used to. Unless it's a review of a show or album, or if I find myself caught up in a trip down memory lane...
As for what to expect from the Chems, I just want to sit back relax and let them surprise me. I have no doubt that whatever they do next will be brilliant!

hey folks! after finishing university and stay at work all day (where they blocked this website-> i even can watch porn there but this forum is closed for me ) i'm just reading most of all the threads at home before i go to sleep like now. and i still love it here. nice to read some words from whirly, inchem, i-g-g-y and all you other guys. i'm here since the beginning of WATN tour and also was here between WATN/Brotherhood - Further. i loved all this speculation stuff in the pre-further era till some new stuff from the brothers came along.
i also expect some rare dj sets with some new stuff the chems will test live (human tests, what a shame) and for chem12 even some light return to collabs (with beth plz) but with that adult further twist (and of course problems/questions as opener).
so long guys!
(*crawls back to chemical undergroud)

Well hello there, brother ging! Nice to have you back - hopefully Bouh is on to something here and come November, there will be some new songs for you to start thinking about putting into your own dj sets!

Theres always the other stuff they can be working on. Who knows maybe Tom (or Ed as well) Chemical might have a hand at a few more I Break Horses songs for there debut album!
As mentioned elsewhere, the Hanna movie was finally released in Australia with nothing but great reviews. I would love another official DJ compilation from them or a live CD/DVD (yes I won't be letting that one go!)

Come out from the cold and into the setting sun. It's where it all began for me (not in Afrika), like it was out of control. Then after that life was sweet. So dream on into the pioneer skies of the fourteenth century and rise from the sunshine underground.

Right now I'm just wondering if Superflash will ever find a place to hang its hat!
It will be dropped in the new hypothetical new Dj mix compilation they will release called Brothers Gonna Work It Out Again: Volume 2.

I have not regretted returning to the forum in january. I was blocked at WATN era as my username was too long or whatever, I just could not sign in at all, trying it again earlx this year worked and I quickly rediscovered the old spirit and am happy to be back with you guys. even though life has changed over the years and keeps me very busy - this is a little escape from the real world, and I do have access at work!
I don't mind it being a bit quiter now, even though it was a shame only so few of us voted for vela's album artwork... it's getting better with a new album out at some point or new songs exclusively being played for the first time worldwide live at pete tong's... looking forward to that!
